I don't know what you guys are talking about. That looks a lot like the Mark II 2.0., which was one of the better MG kits I've built. Pretty good engineering for a 2005 kit.
On MG Mark II 2.0, yes. It is included as a single mesh pipe, and the manual includes a "ruler" on the appropriate pages to help you cut it up into the right sizes. With the exception of what's on the backpack (which hangs from a single peg in each beam saber rack/thruster, and slides into holes on the sides of the main part of the backpack), most of the mesh piping slides over parts of the inner frame on the legs. On MG Build Mark II, we can't tell if it has any mesh piping until we get images from the back, or at least a better shot of the backs of its knees.
guys... gundam build fighter series SHOWED and SAID these gundams are upgraded/modified from EXISTING KIT... i don't see any problem with bandai adding stuff on existing kit... that's like living the gundam build fighter series. it's a JAPANESE THING...!!! that's what bandai is trying to do. and bandai always put KIDS into consideration. that's why these "WAR" units designed in striking colour scheme, and so is their plastic... if they are targeting adult, and pro modelers alike, their plastics would be single toned much like military model kits... remember, they try to attract KIDS...
I think to myself as this should of been a B-CLUB Resin kit , instead of being it as a stand alone kit. The only reason for that is because there should be no point of releasing a MG in the same colors and same base when it should become a kit itself.
I had seen build fighters but still , it should be an B-CLUB conversion kit.
oh my word....
ReplyDeleteits time for bandai to redeem this design!
ReplyDeleteMG?.... Golly God.... where is the Strike Build?
ReplyDeleteSo it's basically a retooled MG MK-II. Doesn't even look like it's 2.0...
ReplyDeleteA possible gundam Mk II ver3.0?
ReplyDeleteReleasing this kit based on an ancient MG? Only stupid people will buy this, they better release an MG MK-II 3.0 or remaster.
ReplyDeleteOnly stupid people would complain to a kit that is already a well-proportioned and well-articulated kit.
DeleteAncient? 2.0 version still counted as a decent MG despite released at 2005.

Deleteits the 2.0
Delete1.0 didn't have hands like that, and the 2.0 was more faithful to the animated mkII
Looks like Mark II 2.0 kitbash

ReplyDeleteWhy not just release an add-on pack of sorts? I really don't want to buy a full kit when I'm more than happy with my 2.0.
