Awesome! The beam sabers can be deployed from the cuffs, like AGE 3 and DODS rifle stows on the back--nice touch. Yeah, the legs seem a little disproportionate to the rest of the body, lack of knees and small feet are part of it. But then again, this isn't really meant for standing in gravity affected terrain...so shrimp legs is okay, right? For grunt-style variable MS, this is great. Also, the clear visor really pops out, in a good way.
The landing gear is nice to have, but a little beefy and out of scale with the flight mode. Maybe some paint and detail on the wheels would help. For an OOT straight build, the HG Clanche still looks great. I'm really looking forward to it!
Also, it only comes with a closed fist and a open hand for the left arm, so you can't have the rifle in one hand and a handheld saber in the other. But they get around it with the cuff sabers
Finally! Its here! Now all that's missing is the custom unit and the Khronos. I hope those vents aren't painted. :)
ReplyDeleteAND the Genoace O-Custom. Obright never did get a Genoace II "Diva Color" release, either...
Deletedoes this come with a flying action base? (the clear part that's holding the model in the photo)
ReplyDeleteThat's figma standbase, I think the standart V-base are included just like previous release like AGE-2
DeleteTo be honest, I think the Clanche looks pretty good except for the legs. I don't know why, but the legs just look weird to me.
ReplyDeleteThe legs suck. The custom is a minor step up, but the legs kill both designs. Maybe it's due to the bland coloring.
