Version 1.0 or KA? I prefer the 1.0 kit. The KA is a skinny mess. Most of the MG's are getting the new sleek/skinny designs so that bandai can save a butt load on plastic. How sad really.
You're saying you want the kit to look like the animated picture above? The ver ka is perfection if Bandai was cheating out they would've made the armor allow & not added all those psycho frame gimmicks
@rxslinger The picture was edited, it was 't known if it was ver. KA before.
@sabino Yea I guess you are right in that aspect. But, I've had pieces break very easily on newer MG kits because the plastic is so thin. God, I hate premium bandai, more like premium BS or premium middleman, or premium racist. Why hasn't a distributor picked up the slack and offered p-bandai @ regular prices? I guess they don't care about thier North American MG fanbase.
It appears to be the nu Gundam and hws together. Look at the price. Gg posted it wrong. It should read 101.52 yen not 10.152 yen. The hi nu hws was $30 and the only difference between the hi nu and nu version are the colors and decal. So I don't this is selling for $10.
I have the Hi Nu HWS kit. None of the existing parts will fit on the Nu ver Ka. Bandai retooled the HWS to fit the Nu ver Ka's slimmer proportions. I'm not a fan of the end result :(
Wrong. The Ver Ka is better, the HWS leg armor looks proportional to the rest of the armor now, before the side leg HWS armor made the lower legs look fat compared to the rest of the suit.
The HWS was supposed to make a bulky Gundam even more bulkier.
I do like the proportions of the Nu ver Ka (that I have one too, along with the Hi Nu ver Ka + HWS). I just think that Bandai should've fixed the proportions to better suit the Nu ver Ka (the HWS leg armor just seems to float at the calves; same also with the chest armor which looks like it floats above the chest rather than the snug fit of the original lineart). Then again, the intention here might be like sheddable Chobham armor as Katoki reintepreted the Nu ver Ka as a sleek MS.
They got smart and realized they can charge a buttload of money for made to order niche kits and rake in 100% of the profit. They don't even have to go to the trouble of distributing it to other stores.

Read it. It say ver ka. There is no way the would produce a hws for the 1.0

Yeah I don't like P-Bandai too. I think Daban will release a bootleg of it since they already have the ver ka
Deletei presume its for the Nu Ver.Ka and not the normal MG.
ReplyDeleteand if its P-bandai, at least it wont take long before Daban makes a copy..
Hmm HWS for the Nu-Gundam Ver. Ka? They will probably pull something like the Thunderbolt weapon and hangar expansion set.

DeleteThis one also shows a blue psycho frame not a green one
Delete@Rxslinger , One hundred and a half yen? Bruh. It is Ten thousand yen. Do you even know how yen works?
DeleteI might be convinced to buy this. I never bought any of the large MGs and this would be interesting to buy. Is this an Amuro unit?
ReplyDeleteIt has his personal logo on it... so yes, it is Amuro's unit
DeleteDo you even know what the Nu Gundam is?
DeleteIt would have been if Amuro didn't have to slam Char into Axis.
DeleteHws parts are totaly copied from hi nu hws ver ka. Though this one is missing extra bazooka and inability to mount the shield at the back.

DeleteThe Nu ver Ka's skinny calves doesn't sit well with the HWS compared to the Izabuchi original.

Can't help but assume this is the same HWS parts add on released for Hi-Nu Ver Ka. Only this time it's one WHOLE kit.
ReplyDeletefor 10,000 yen that is more likely a NU Gundam and the HWS together.
ReplyDeleteIs it me or does the psycho frame look blue?
ReplyDeleteYes.it written as sky blue psycho frame with katakana
DeleteThe set is for Nu Gundam Ver Ka. According to the description, this HWS is the same as that for Hi-Nu Gundam Ver Ka.

ReplyDeletealmost identical to MCM Gundoom which released in 2011,
ReplyDeletebut that's not my problem.....*leave*
What happened to those good old times where p bandai is just for repainted kits
