Here is my entry into the 2016 Gunpla Builders World Cup - the MSM-07S Z'Gok.
This is the standard MG kit that has been modified by scribing lots of new panel lines, new claws, additional armour parts and details, and a blue LED that lights up the monoeye.
Painting was done using Mr Surfacer Black, Mr Surfacer Grey, Metallic Pearl Red nail polish, SMS Black, and SMS Silver.
The hexagon patterns were made with masks. A base of grey was applied first, then masked, then a coat of black applied. Once the mask was removed, the red nail polish went over the top to give it a two toned effect.
The base is a hexagon picture frame with some styrene detailed to look like a hangar floor.
Decals were from a custom set for the Z'Gok and HiQ decal sets.
