Now the big question: Will the gold trim just be stickers, or will they find a way to do colour separation in the parts? Either way, this is a definite purchase; should look awesome in multiple shades of red.
I'm guessing Bandai might use this kit to showcase new manufacturing techniques... similar to those eyes in the recently-announced figure busts (Kira and Athrun). Well, we'll know soon enough. :-)
Pretty sure going to be stickers, even MG use stickers, but maybe a backward stickers (like have gold plastick part applied with black stickers) who knows, just my wild imagination
anon 5:50 here. though my ass is deep fried, it's still the gold parts (heck, it's mekki!). totally didnt expect the monotone red though given the price and all. (still understandable with the height of UC mobile suit & lots of weapons)
I'm just happy it's not another main character Gundam. Sure, it's a main character mono-eye, but it's still progress. Still want to see more side character units and grunts though.
What I'm more interested about this is as with the HG and MG, the gold trim design on its "sleeves". I'm interested to see if Bandai can engineer it to be done up in parts. They should do the layering design like they did with the Age series of GunPla quite often and layer on the colors. Depending on stickers/decals is honestly very lazy and it's probably 1 big reason why people have not purchase the Sinanju in Gunpla form yet.
Anon 9:09 here. Yes, that's what I meant, and if that's happening, I'm in for the RG again. About the Nightingale, as much as I want it on 1/144 scale, I can't really see it being an RG kit, maybe HG
Half of me is surprised that this is happening before a RG Unicorn. But the other half of me is like, "If they do a RG unicorn they'd make it transformable and all those small parts would be impossible to transform without breaking it.
I think the RG Unicorn and its variations is likely. But I don't think it'll transform. I think they'll separate the Unicorn and Destroy variants as a separate release.
Heck. Yes.

99.78% for sticker
DeleteOh dear God I forgot about the trim....
DeleteSticker for sure. Those thin shiny metallic ones used on the joints

DeleteCurse of the Golden Trims T_T but yeah, really curious about that too.
Deleteokay heres the shitter
Deleteits either we get color seperated parts for the gold trims or 2 shades of red
i dont know if we could get both because from what i know real grades should be below 3000 yen
Yes ... that is one of the reasons i didn't bought the HG is because of all those stickers, fingers cross on how they're going with the gold trim. XS

Deletei, anonymous, would like to bet my tight ass that the gold part will be 'puke gold' mold just like we saw in rg strike freedom inner frame.
DeleteI have seen it, it is glorious

ReplyDeleteTold you guys it was the sinanju not unicorn.

ReplyDeletep-bandai detected : HG Neo Zeong Real type color & Sinanju Stein :(
ReplyDeleteAw man i'll really disappointed if RG sinanju stein was P bandai
DeleteSo?
DeleteI think that makes sense. I think Bandai will do a Premium Bandai release for RG Sinanju Stein and HG Neo Zeong Real Type Color Version.
DeleteAnd then when Bandai makes RG Unicorn, I think they'll release a lot of the variations and effect parts and weapon packs as Premium Bandai.
It looks like Bandai isn't done with Unicorn spamming.
Now we need the sazabi :P
ReplyDeleteHope that the rocket bazooka is included in this rg
ReplyDeleteThe sexiest mono eye mobile suit just got real
ReplyDeleteCalled it - While the Unicorn would have been revolutionary, this is feasible. Having an RG Unicorn is probably not gonna be easy to engineer.
ReplyDeleteIs this the real life?
ReplyDeleteP-Bandai - Sinanju Stein :P
ReplyDeleteI never have Sinanju before, but if this is real at least I can buy this at affordable price!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm curious, from what I heard, Sinanju is taller than most Gundam, so I'm expecting a new inner frame design for this kit!!
Glad to see the Sinanju getting some much needed love. Def buying t

I think that is the most likely choice Bandai will make in terms of Unicorn RG releases.

Damn........ Auto-PO Auto-PO Auto-PO Auto-PO Auto-PO........... All Hail Bandai

ReplyDeleteNw RG...w
AAAAAAHAAHHHHHH HYPE!! cant wait to see what it looks like.
ReplyDeleteOk so while we're at this, since the sinanju is supposed to be a >20 m MS, is this mean that RG Nu/Sazabi is close to happening?
ReplyDeleteI think now we're more likely to get the bigger Gundams released as RG like Nu, Hi Nu, Sazabi, Nightingale, Alex...
DeleteAnon 9:09 here. Yes, that's what I meant, and if that's happening, I'm in for the RG again. About the Nightingale, as much as I want it on 1/144 scale, I can't really see it being an RG kit, maybe HG
DeleteOh my god... if they could sinanju they are capable of doing unicorn
ReplyDeletemaybe a non transformable one
DeleteHeack yeah!

DeleteStill waiting RE/100 Kshatriya, and one day maybe, who know, MG and RG
ReplyDeleteI think Kshatriya and Kshatriya Repair have a good chance at RE 1/100 release. MG or RG is not too likely.
DeleteRg sinanju is badass, but I am waiting for the re/100 kshatriya
ReplyDeleteHa.. they still can't find away to make RG Unicorn I presume
ReplyDeleteThey're most likely using the Sinanju to showcase the parts separation tech used in the Kira and Athrun busts
