As someone who bought the previous P-Bandai Mass Produced Hyaku Shiki Kai, I have to say this really pisses me off. They release 2.0 in matte gold but release the MP Hyaku Shiki Kai in the sucky fake-gold yellow color, only to release another Hyaku Shiki Kai with some proper gold plating. It's like they want to make you feel bad about your previous P-Bandai purchase and force you to get this one, where the only difference in terms of parts is the binders (and some other small details). Even as far as lowballed sales go, this is another low IMO.
bro, if you really BUILD, you know meki plating is not something you will ever want.
1. undergated kit is typically BS as it will still require sanding. Despite the Hyaku Shiki 2.0 being undergated, there are still some parts that exposes those awful nubs. 2. meki plating jacks the price wayyyyy to high. look the Phenex and now this non-MPT variant of the Shiki Kai.
In a nutshell, meki plating is something where modellers pay more and have to do more work. like, what?!
FYI, I am also an owner of the PB MG Hyaku Shiki MPT. I love every bit of it. especially with the fact it came with puke shit gold! Now I don't have to bother about stripping. and it's only a tad bit more expensive than the normal MG Hyaku Shiki 2.0 I rather get a puke shit gold and just paint over it than actually pay a butt tonne extra for a meki plated kit, strip the gold, and repaint it. -Do you even build bro?
That's the 4th delta series we've gotten in MG in recent times. Good te to be a gunpla builder!

Its not even the Full Armor veraion yet cost a kidney
ReplyDeleteBecause they left all the hyaku shiki runners in chrome there. With so many new parts and leftover, this is like NG gusion/rebake in mg price tag.
DeleteI would prefer if they made the runners like the Hyaku Shiki Ballute version and i can paint the Gold Color myself
Deleteno missile launcher and pulse laser cannon parts for shoulder?
