Seriously? Thought there was already a "High Mobility Type" Zaku.... Better call this a "Gundam Breaker" kit rather than a "Gundam Origin" kit - Half Zaku. Half Dom. Lol.
This particular one actually appears in the 8th MS Team, first episode "A War for Two." That itself really is grating to see this as a P-Bandai model. >.< It's not a MSV but something that actually shows up on anime.
The only thing that is funny is you ignorance kid. This is a actual design from the 8th ms team. It's purpose is to test the Rick Dom's legs for mass production.
I've been waiting for this guy ever since I first started collecting gunpla like fifteen years ago. Now they've gone and double-dicked us with not just this P-Bandai bullshit, they also couldn't even get the look of it right! They went the lazy route and followed the Origin aesthetic. Honestly, I knew something wasn't quite right when that Prototype Dom came out from the cuts. I'm pissed, frankly.
Chances we'll ever get a screen-faithful 08th MS Team version? Slim to none, I'd wager.
I'm not taking this personally. Who said I'm taking this personally?
Son of a fucking bitch.
ReplyDeleteSo is this basically a kit bash of the Origin Zaku II and the Prototype Dom?
ReplyDeletei am off the charts hype for this. already placed my pre-order, april can't come soon enough!
ReplyDeleteSeriously? Thought there was already a "High Mobility Type" Zaku....

This kit is based off of the zaku in the first episode of 08ms team.
DeleteHey, The 8th MS Team called. They said Breaker can get close and personal with a cactus.

DeleteThis is from ms08th team. Aina's original suit.
DeleteDefeated by Ball. Lol.
Though they are releasing it under the Origin Line, this suit actually appears in the 08th MS team OVA.
DeleteUm no, it has the correct title being that this was a mobile suit in 08th MS team and this is the prototype and it was meant for space.

DeleteWhy would they call it something new after over 20 years? The RD-4 was the main enemy of the first episode of 08th MS Team, y'know?
Deletesame type of the Zaku in 08MS EP1?
ReplyDeleteThis Zaku never skipped leg day...
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me that some people haven't seen the 08th MS Team
ReplyDeleteGoddammit! Of course this one's a P-Bandai exclusive! Ugh, why you gotta do that Bandai?!
ReplyDeleteDoes no one remember this from 08th MS Team?

"The pilot for it is only 17 years old." Oy OY. :P
ReplyDeleteNo, I will not stop making this joke.
Why make this part of the Origin line when it's from the 08th MS Team OVA? :/
ReplyDeleteBecause of three reasons.
Delete1.Profit
2.Profit
3.To fuck with us.
