  2. Reminds me of the GP03 for some reason. I dig it!

  3. Is this IBO? Is it Ein's suit? Why is its left hand a power fist? WHY? SO MANY QUESTIONS!

    2. I have noticed in the previous pictures from one of the magazines that the kanji for side story appears (gaiden) and kadokawa is mentioned as well so I assume that the astaroth will only appear in this side story manga

    3. Its from IBO Gaiden, a side story of Iron-Blooded Orphans. Piloted by Argi Mirage, and the left arms was from a spinner rodi

    1. Neither. It's an MSV suit apart of a new IBO manga with a different story.

    2. It's the main suit in the IBO manga side-story. Any other details are unknown at this time.

    4. This is a design for the side story.
Manga and photonovel, most probably won't be in anime.

  6. This looks like GP03 Stamen with badass sword

  7. Guess Spinner Rodi isn't coming since they actually provided the arm...

    ReplyDelete
  8. It looks like the Sword strike gundam? Is that some sort of easter egg?

    ReplyDelete
  9. The look is pretty standard. I thought the series will be full of unique gundam designs but this is not so much unique. I'm not hating on it though.

  10. Sword strike much?
And to be honest, nothing wrong with that....this design is growing on me :)

  11. Sword strike + gp03 stamen without beam weapons

    ReplyDelete
  12. If the sword cool for the both side..

    ReplyDelete
  13. this thing looks pretty cool

    ReplyDelete
  14. You know what I smell? An upcoming Spinner Rodi kit ;)

  15. Bless bandai for not making this a p bandai product

    ReplyDelete
  16. A "Leftie" must be uing this suit...

    ReplyDelete
  17. Def grabbing this when it comes out~ No question~

  18. looks like something from Recon G

  19. -I actually wouldn't be surprised if the Astaroth was one on the concept designs for the Barbatos, given how "main gundam" it looks.
-If it doesn't make some sort of cameo or appearance in IBO anime, i will be such dissapoint. If it does make an appearance in the series, the form it appears in will probably have a p-bandai release.
-As a small detail, has anyone noticed that, in the anime, it is stated that 26 gundam frames remain, and that each gundam revealed so far starts with a different letter? If we eventually get to see all 26, i would bet we would get a Sternritter (bleach) A to Z naming scheme, in addition to the demon motiv.

  20. finally something looks like gundam.. hahahaha...

    ReplyDelete
  21. Looking at the color scheme, could it be mikazuki next suit.?

    ReplyDelete
  22. From the color scheme i think this could be mikazuki next suit...

    ReplyDelete
  23. That Barbatos leg now looks like strike leg, gundam frame sure is versatile

    ReplyDelete
  24. yep this is ibo

either mikazukis second suit in the second season (maybe)
or for a upcoming manga for ibo

    ReplyDelete
  25. Hmmmm...most likely we'll see this in the 2nd season of the show.

    ReplyDelete
  26. It's IBO Side story, so I guess this is one of the many Gundams from 300years prior.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think this awesome gundam is based on CLOUD strife~!!!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Looks like this cool gundam is based on cloud strife~~!!
And I think this gundam is an ally because it possesses the colors red'blue'white and yellow and we all know that colors are mostly from the goodside's gundams

    ReplyDelete
  29. Am I the only one who sees the recycled g reco gaeon gundam kit?

    ReplyDelete
  30. May?! is this season 2?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Kindly refers to Nightmare from Soul Calibur rather than Astaroth from the same game...

    ReplyDelete
  32. This is Gaeon's parts which includes the head with two eyes plus some other kit bash parts. Gaeon looked more Gundammish than G-Lucifer by 75%.

    ReplyDelete
  33. the story of this mobile suit seems pretty cool. after the near 300 years since the Calamity War, the Gundam Astaroth's parts have been scattered across the world with only its Gundam Frame and head staying together, so all of its armor other than that is either custom made or taken from other mobile suits, which is why its left arm is an arm from a Spinner Rodi

  34. This design just reeks of awesome~!

  35. combination of astray blue frame, sword strike, gp 03, and IBO series.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Why do people keep thinking it is from IBO anime ? Isn't it the sidestory's main mobile suit?

    ReplyDelete
  37. GP03 and Sword strike had a baby

    ReplyDelete
  38. Look like a three way fusion between Barbatos, GP04, and Gastima.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Im sold for the sword it kinda reminds me of GPO3 but again most of the ms there looks like GPO3

    ReplyDelete
  40. Head is from that G-Reco unit named Gaeon plus the better camera of 2 eyes, the MS that looked more Gundam like than the G-Lucifer.

    ReplyDelete
  41. it looks ok, the swords great. but its kinda bland imo

    ReplyDelete
  42. I hope we can straight build when we buy twice

    ReplyDelete
  43. If this the evolution of barbatos, gundam ibo will lose his rating

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. no this is a different gundam there are 72 gundam frame and this is one of them, and no this is not from the second season, this is from the side story

      Delete
  44. it looks a lot like a type of samurai to me

    ReplyDelete
  45. Gundam Astaroth is from the official side story to Iron Blooded Orphans published in Monthly Hobby Japan and Monthly Gundam Ace magazines.

    ReplyDelete
  46. It seems to have a bit of a gladiator aesthetic to me with it's asymmetrical armor it's big choppy sword and overall "tough" appearance

I mean I am probably misinterpreting it but I love the design nonetheless!

    ReplyDelete
  47. Ah, a folding anti-ship sword with the beam blade taken out.

    ReplyDelete
  48. does this mean Vassago will be the Strike Launcher

    ReplyDelete
  49. thats an interesting gimmick to advertise, it was already a given that the parts of the HG Gundam Kimaris, Gundam Gusion Rebake, and Gundam Barbatos were compatable with this, bout to actually advertise it....
