  1. Compared this to RG, why would anyone buy this?
PS. Really want to know the reason of anyone who's gonna buy this.

    1. Not everyone is a fan of RG or can afford to buy one. Yes the RG is infinitely better than the HG, but some people either can't afford it or just collects HGs.

    2. cheap and easy to build, good for beginner in gunpla

    3. I would buy it, since I haven't own any Freedom yet, and I like to fiddle with my Gunpla. An RG would be too fragile.

    4. The price of course, as long as not going more than 2000 yen it's fine and it's HG means more fun to play it or custom it,
Love its new proportion, it's more like the MG proportion, the old one is ugly and more like a dwarf body with wings

    5. cheaper than RG, compatibility with All-gundam Projet HG joints, kitbashability, anime-style looks.

      i could go on.

    6. The RG is great but it's too fragile for me to kitbash. Not that I'll buy this (I don't have any kitbash/custom kit ideas yet) but that's the reason why I bought both HGCE and RG Strike

    7. If I am the fan of Freedom, I definitely buy RG.
I guess this HG will come handy to modeler & kit-basher.

    8. If you paint your kits there's nothing wrong with HG's at all. You can achieve some great results so why spend twice as much?

    9. 1. RG cannot easily kitbashed/customize.
      2. Not all people can instantly build RG, especially if they don't have basic modeling skill. RG especially their frame are fragile.
      3. The first HG proportion are horrible.

  2. Hopefully this leads into a MG Freedom RM Ver.?

    2. Shut up with your MG wishlist already. No one cares.

    3. What's next, "hopefully" wishes for an MG Strike Freedom RM ver.

    4. Sorry, suiton629, but I. Don't. Think. So. If Bandai wishes to make a Master Grade Freedom ver. RM, they should have done that in 2013 or last year when SEED or SEED Destiny was remastered in HD.

Now is already too late for it as most of us have already moved on to wait for the 00 Raiser RGs, the upcoming Build Fighters Try HGs and this new HG REVIVE kit.

    5. ^also we already got a decent fucking freedom, its like asking bandai can we have the same mg but with different panel lines

    6. I want to laugh by reading all the comments when Freedom 2.0 is to be released in april. @Samuel Giam: yeah right. When it comes to Cosmic Era kits, there is no "too late" here. C.E kits are phenomenal in Japan, and the demand has always been so high; especially in Japan. The MG freedom had bad proportions and knowing bandai; they can't just release a Strike RM without having Freedom; lol, that would be nuts.

  3. some like the freedom dut are new to gunplan so it's a nice start better than the old hg freedom

  4. OH MY GOD !!! Thank God for this release !!! I must buy this kit :D

  5. AWESOME! Kinda wish this would be on the HGCE line, to be consistent with the strike. Gonna buy this.

  6. This Freedom Gunpla should be in the High Grade Cosmic Era segment of the HG All Gundam Project along with the Strike and Strike Rouge, is Bandai scrapping the HG All Gundam Project for the all new HG REVIVE line for future remolds of past Gundam series HG kits?

    1. lets see
i guess the hg revive is just a rebranded version of the all gundam project
since its hard to cope up with the names they make, like hgce, hgac and etc
so maybe bandai tought that they need a somewhat better name for the all gundam project

    2. as like Primescape say, it's for rebranded version of all gundam project. But I think they'll stick with HGUC/HGCE/HGAW and so for MS which is never released as HG 1/144 before.

    3. I see. Thanks for that both of you.

  7. I hope we get HGCE testament

  8. It seems odd to put this in the REVIVE but I guess that is the monicker they'll be putting re-dos under, even though I assume this was probably going to be an All Gundam Project kit eventually, anyway, due to how dated and flawed the original kit was.

I quite want this. I am not really that big a fan of Real Grades, due to problems with stability. I prefer sturdier kits, even if the detail level is not as high.

  9. im expecting hgce destiny or destiny revive, though.

  10. Maybe its the way its posed but to me the wings look way to low, i like the new length just they look weird same with the rifle.

    ReplyDelete
  11. In appearance, this is almost the same as the old HG. The wings on this sample appears too low though. Hope the wing cannons would fold like the RG.
They should do a "Proper Revive" of the HG Strike Freedom. That was the worst proportioned kit ever.

  12. They should do Destiny too.

  13. IMPO, I think one SEED/DESTINY HG kit that definitely needs retooling is the Impulse. I've built the HG Sword Impulse, and it's a chore keeping the thing together with its core block system. Then again, most of the old HGSEED kits that I've built short of the Strike Noir felt pretty cheap, even for their time. If they could make a new HG Impulse with today's tech and attention to detail, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

    1. I agree with you. Impulse needs to be remade with better quality, especially its proportion. HGCE force/sword/blast impulse will be great.

  14. I hope they realize their mistakes from the first HG freedom. ^(-_-)^

  16. M'Quve is still waiting for someone to fix his Gyan. :P

But still, I never bothered with the original Freedom HGCE model since it was poo and most of the other models are so backheavy it's not funny. This on the other hand might be my first model of the Freedom.

  17. With the weight issues, it should be fixed. The namesake of "revive", I rather called it a revision or revised freedom instead.

  18. Not gonna lie~ I'm wanting this kit badly~

  19. i guess a lot of HGs will be redone
exia, strike freedom, also we might get ourselves a new hg turn x

    ReplyDelete
  20. I would buy robot spirits and this revive ver.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yay! Better proportions! Let's hope Bandai does this to the HG 1/144 Strike Freedom as well. :)

  22. Im gonna use this for an awesome scratch upgrade
