Actually if Yuuma Kousaka wants to beat Saga Adou that badly, it should be his entire Gunpla that's developed into a new Gundam, not just the backpack unless Yumma can refine his battling skills to Saga's level.
DeleteIf not, then this Lightning Gundam plus the Lightning BWS Mk-II will not even be enough to overpower that Gundam The End let alone finish it off.
Dude did you not see the latest episode? Meijin whooped Yuuma's ass with his own gunpla (while it was still damaged from the earlier battle mind you) while Yuuma was using Meijin's Red Warrior which was incredibly powerful. The upgrade is a cool new thing for bandai to make more money on, but as far as the story goes Yuuma just needs to overcome the limits he has put on himself and legitimately get better instead of "trying his hardest". His gunpla is more than powerful enough already he just needs to work out the mental side of gunpla battle to get better now.

Well, in the last episode the meijin beat the amazing red warrior with a damaged lightning. the Gunpla is certainly capable, its the pilot thats the problem
Deletealso dont forget yuuma lost his composure against adou, he came chargin in(something sekai would do). lightning gundam is more a sniper, now that i think about he shouldve added an attachment to his scope under the V fin like the dymanes.
DeleteYuuma has the same problem Sei had in the original season - he didn't put his full effort into fighting (though Sei's hesitation came from his reluctance to take damage in combat to damage his masterpieces). And as the other says - it's not the suit that makes the victor - it's the pilot.

ReplyDeleteLooks kinda more like a buster riffle or high powered beam riffle than a long range Sniper rifle. I think the Full Burnern is gonna change the Lightning's mobile sniper style into a high speed Blitzkrieg machine. The Mejin clearly demonstrated how mobile the lightning actually is, and perhaps a change in combat style is great for a new change in mentality for Yuuma.

ReplyDeleteThe vernier cannons have pegs underneath - can already see the ingenuous transformation. They fit into the shoulder ports (which people have been "misusing" as extra ports for the cannons for the LWBS mk I). The nose cone has an extra round peg that fits the shield, I think, just behind the connection point for the rifle. I wonder if it will still have missile ports?

ReplyDeleteThe backpack reminds me a lot of Justice's backpack, and in flight mode it looks like Wing Gundam in bird mode.
