In addition to what anon 8:57 said, RDs come with a whole range of accessories that the HGs normally wouldn't get such as left trigger hands (options are always good), ability to dual wield its weapons, occasionally effect parts and the occasional freebie stand. Some good examples are the RD Stark Jegan and RD Hi-Nu. The RD Stark Jegan and Hi-Nu can dual wield which the HGs can't do. The RD Hi-Nu also has effect parts which the HG does not come with and ALL of its funnels can be deployed as opposed to the HG's two funnels. Those are some examples of differences between kits and RDs.
White Zeta seems a bit difficult to pull off due to markings. Unless, there was a RD that had such similar markings. Still, it would be welcome though. I have the RG of that and its awesome!
The red snake, due to its color pattern would be the most difficult to pull off IMO, the Gray Wolf seems more plausible.
This looks undeniably good, but the RG is the way to go if you have the time to build IMO. The RG doesn't need painting plus its got those cool stickers. Its only con is that it doesn't have the launcher but weapon system 007 is gonna fix that.
O_O Just noticed that now. They're almost Byarlant-long. However, from the pics they're selling its poseability, so that double joint is gonna be hidden (sort-of) and allow it to pull of those dynamic poses.
please let it transform
ReplyDeleteIt won't. Suck it up.

ReplyDeleteHopefully it comes with option parts for wave rider form. If not then I'm fine with option parts sold separately

DeleteFinally. What took them so long? Lol
ReplyDeleteThis has been high on my list of most wanted robot damashii's since the line started... I am super stoked about this and think it looks great.
ReplyDeletei have never bought a Robot Damashii before but this one looks nice. are they much different from a model kit besides being fully put together?
ReplyDeleteBetter articulation in a lot of cases, they come nicely painted. They're great imo

DeleteAlso, RD are made of better and sturdier material. Trade off is that you won't get as much detail like panel lines for example.
DeleteThis is so amazing. The made it sleeker and meaner by slimming it down so that the edges are sharper.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that it won't have the stupid transformation gimmicks since I absolutely hate the knee of the HGUC and RG versions.
it's...it's beautiful
ReplyDeleteZeta Ver.OBARI?
ReplyDeleteI.have waited for this, I hope they also release white unicorn zeta
ReplyDeleteStrike zeta
Red snake
Gray wolf variants.
I don't think it will transform.
Only White Zeta will be made as an exclusive. The other three, well no because they're not popular enough for Bandai to warrant a release.
DeletePossible, (long shot) Other might be released in set. Its unlikely we will see the same in HG.
DeleteAlso like Fazz, expect Full armor Zeta.

The way I see it, Banpresto sold SCM Ex Zeta Gundam mold to Bandai Tamashii Nation..
ReplyDeleteI think I still enjoy my RG. May got it if its price was down.....
ReplyDeleteIf there wasn't an RG of this I'd totally buy it. This looks pretty darn sleek.

DeleteThe arms are too long.
