I like trans-am in the anime but never in a model kit. The gloss injection ver. makes it look like a knock-off kit, I mean the corners and edges makes it look round and soft unlike what they show to their promotional images.

ReplyDeleteOk, anyone might call me a whiner for giving us pink strips instead of red, I mean they're just strips, right? But have you thought it is similar when you ordered a good-looking burger and they gave you a crappy looking one? It's a let down. Sure the look doesn't really matter but the taste but as of this one? The look does matter because you can't eat it.

The pink strips are a fail, imho. Needs more reviewers to confirm though. The red strips in the promo pics set off the otherwise very pink model. Now it's just pink overload.
DeleteI have to agree, it does look rather cheap from the pics. The gloss molding doesn't help. Really Trans-am mode doesn't work well in model form.
