  1. One step forward three steps back. I was very dissapointed from this year's Shizuoka Hobby Show, I mean I didn't have any crazy expectations or anything, I'd be happy with a Char's Zaku ver.3 after all the fuss they made about v3s last year...

    3. Wow you were disappointed while nont having any crazy expectations. They released a new line, announced GBF season 2, and many other awesome news.

This guy must be the most whinny, no-fun, easily disappointed and complete downer in the world. Just because you did't get your Zaku 3.0, everything else is overlooked and you whine and get disappointed. What a LOSER

  4. The Hi-Nu... is nothing new at all, just a slight modification built on the Nu but yeah, I'll accept this, it's was a nice announcement with the premium armor and so on.

The new line are just an oversized HG, sure I love the Nightingale but this one looks really plain, and if this is their answer for the innability to make larger kits like Night and Kshatrya into 1/100 scale, no, I'm not happy with it, if they did it right I'd me more than happy to pay good money for it cause the quality of the latest ver ka kits is amazing.

The Neo Zeong, we knew about that a while ago, so nothing new to count into how good this year's SHS was.

And then there's a crapload of pbandai stuff that's either just recolors or stuff that nobody really needs/are too expencive, but that the norm lately anyway.

It's been a year and the only version 3 we got was the RX, I at least expected more to come out of this line after making such a big deal out of it last year, I may sound way too butthurt because they seemingly ignored this line (if you can even call it that with one kit) but it's a real shame because that really was an evolution and a step forward for the 1/100 kits unlike this new line that takes us back...

    1. not sure about you but for me a 1/100 nightingale is hardly a step back
to say that the hi nu is a slight modification built on the nu is like saying the geara zulu is a slight modification built on the geara doga. theyre two different things.
just because one kit from your wishlist didnt make it to the show doesnt mean its a disaster. suiton wouldnt even say something like that...

    2. takes us back?? it's not like they totally abandon the mg and replace with re/100, they are for larger kit at reasonable price, we still gonna get ver. ka kit, turn x is amazing as well.
just be patient, they can't do every things at the same time.

    3. also, i think they're more likely to release char's zaku 3.0 after gundam origin for obvious reason.

    4. Doesn't bother me that much I am personally a big of of the hg line. While I am prity new at this hobby(started last August) I feel like having a Nightingale as an MG would be prity difficult to do and would cost too much. I can't wait to pick up the RE Nightingale!

  5. Im guessing the RE/100 line is for those mobile suits with MG details but would have MAJOR weight issues. That and I guess mobile suits people wanted to see with MG quality, but were too obscure.

  6. Well in my case, really happy with all the announcements honestly don't care if the Nightingale is MG, RE100, HG, or PG in the first place we all are builders and we can easily detail UP the kit (I believe that's the fun on this hobby). While the Nightingale looks simple like the old NG 1/100 I'm sure the reason why it looks like that is due to the size of the Nightingale, even so the joints seem to be a new concept. Also I prefer working with plastic no with resin and all the stuff that includes resin, like price, no joints, complicated extra work, etc. All these leads to the fact that up to this date we only had a B-club Resin which is expensive and hard to find. So I welcome with open arms this model, again we can easily add detail and other stuff and make it look better than already is; plus since this is a big kit (monster size MS) being simple can be a good thing in the end (more compact/ less stress on joints). Now for those guys that think this is to simple well there is a simple solution ADD AN INTERNAL FRAME AND PARTS FROM ANOTHER MG, there are plenty of frames you can use on this kit and BANG YOU HAVE YOU'RE WISH

  7. IT's surprising that no one has mentioned this but this Nightingale mold looks exactly like it came straight from B-Club, with Bandai's inner frame. Which would makes it interesting to see what other B-club's kit will be made into plastic in the future.

  8. The Hi-Nu is much smaller compared the the Nu, which means that it won't even share a lot of the runners, but that's ok.

However, I find it a bit unfair to call the RE/100 an oversized HG, since it has connectors and other stuff that is a vast improvement over the HG and even the 1/100 No Grades. While the details may be lacking a bit, it will be a lot more stable than the NGs. The problem with designs like these is that there is no guarrantee that Bandai will ever recoup the money they will invest in the production of the kit. You may be able to shell out $200 to $300 for an MG Nightingale or MG Kshatriya, but if most other fans cannot, then there's no point. The 1/100 isn't the sole property of MGs. The reason why it was called an "evolution" is because it is a 1/100 high grade with better technology. Nothing as ground-breaking as the MG, but it wasn't meant to be part of the MG line in the first place.

The P-Bandai stuff are there exactly for people who want them. I know they have a high price, but it also means that Bandai will only make a specific amount for a small number who want the kit enough. That's a nice way of taking care of recolors without getting in the way of regular releases.

The version 3 was all about the technology, and not the ver 3 trademark. The reason why it was called a ver 3 is because there are 2 main RX 78-2 MGs before it. Most of the technology officially "introduced" in the Gundam ver 3 were already in place as early as Nu Gundam ver Ka.

  9. Rather than whining over something that not even released yet, lets all reserve judgment for later and wait for actual product get released and reviewed.
I personally pessimistic with this 1/100 line. I never like non-mg 1/100 line to start with. And from pics above they looks very plain.

But no worries, we'll find out the truth soon enough. Shall we?

  10. I need more pictures before I can say anything about RE 100 Nightingale because my heart doesn't skip a beat at all
I am looking forward for Hi-Nu ver Ka because I feel not very happy with old Hi-Nu gundam for some reasons
I wish more gundams from 00 would be released soon like Reborn

    1. The Reborn gundam is the perfect candidate to be released only in the Reborn /100 line

  11. We do not have any news for the December release yet.

  12. the new line is specifically made for larger models that wouldn't be possible in actual MG production line but has the MG quality on the parts with easy assembly like HG kits. They're not gonna make any regular sized mobile suits for this line cause they have MG and HG line for them.
