ReplyDeleteI know this thing just started, but Cody Frisbee already looks like the winner. Those effects are just too impressive.
ReplyDeleteThe issue with Cody Frisbee's work, is that those effects which seems similar to GN particle rainbow effect, are placed in strange places. Why in the crotch piece or the mouth piece?
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, based upon coloring skills and aesthetics, Momo definitely wins. Your work is superb.
Cody Frisbee rainbow effect is cool but i dont think it goes w/ d kit... i mean its kinda plain for d said rainbow stuff... and as for momo.. idk too much stuff goin on this 1... i cant tell if its still darkmatter or its amazing exia.... tekto is cool too but its lost its badass aura... i like sanuya work better but i dont like d color scheme though i like d weathered effect..
ReplyDeleteI think Momo's work tells of the Amazing Exia side of the Dark Matter, similar to what happened to it at the end of Ep. 24. It's the paint peeling off showing the true and pure side.

ReplyDeleteIs dark matter / amazing exia, remember that DM is the same Amazing but customized. So if you look closer it says *Amazing* and the paint of DM is damaged...showing the true color.

It is the first time i make something like this, at first glance i thought of dark blue but what i think is that in order to make it more agg it should have been in red instead of green, anyway im really satisfied with the final result and i hope to do my custom with those colors really soon :)

ReplyDeleteI've sent in my entry on April 17, 2014. Still haven't seen it posted up to now. And I've asked for confirmation last Saturday (April 19). as per their instructions up top ^.

I just noticed the entry number is 92, but the total of pictures showed here is 90. Now i know they're short on manpower, and i haven't sent my reconfirmation because i doubt it'll be noticed since they never gave us updates nor replied our email whether our work is disqualified or not.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's 4 days left until the deadline. I have to ask: if our work isn't posted, whose fault is it? Ours because it didn't meet the rules, or GG's because they didn't qualify each work in time?
Because if it's ours, at least replied back our email so we can know our work isn't posted because it didn't meet the regulations, not because we're too late sent the entry before the huge number of entry volume is jammed the qualifications - since the entries that's posted here is around early April.
You should send it either way. There's an entry that doesn't even have a name and it was uploaded even though in the rules it says that's a disqualify, there's others that add stuff to the suit that wasn't in the original design of the suit.
DeleteYeah, I was under the impression that you're not allowed to modify the lineart (Model)... and you have to use the lineart itself as part of the piece.
DeleteI had the exact same thought, and now I'm slightly bummed out because if I had known otherwise, I would have added a few modifications. And now for those that have indeed added quite a few modifications, they already have a one-up on everyone else's pieces.

DeleteYeahh i'm cool now, it's posted finally (orihalchon). But i get the impression GG isn't exactly following its own rules, i mean look at KEEL.D's, how is that allowed? The design's modified. Wouldn't be a fair judging, don't you think?
