    1. I guess everything is planned together.
Its like the changes from the novels all are for the kits.
Well, the sponsor needs to earn as well.

    2. Lol you novelfags are still butthurt over the changes?

      Delete
    3. lol, I've never read the novel :)
Just my opinion to 2saisai's comment.

      Delete
    4. I've never read the novel too...
but the appearance of neo zeong is somewhat a little bit strange...

I mean, after the event in CCA, neo zeon almost has no power and money left... I think it's okay to assume the products of standard new war mechas is still logical... but with their current money, how could they're able to build something so big? the logical part of this economic power is somewhat lost in the appearance of neo zeong...

this is just my personal opinion though

    1. Dendrobium is 90 cm long (Tail to turret)
      This is 80 cm.

But the gimmick of placing Sinanju inside this MS will be a killer.

      Delete
    2. The Dendrobium is only that long because of one really large cannon on it. Excluding that its length is far less and as such it is smaller than the Neo Zeong technically.

      Delete
    3. Blaize Marquez, likewise, the NeoZeong is only so tall because of two really big boosters. So I believe it is appropriate to discount the length of those boosters as well

      Delete
  5. Hide your children this kit is gonna be monstrous

    ReplyDelete
  6. wow, 80cm is helluva huge..man!

    ReplyDelete
  7. ????? How big is this gonna be???!!!

because if the HG 1/144 is more than 2 feet tall, a PG would be...about six foot four inches tall.

      Delete
    5. They're not joking.
However, you all have such poor taste. I for one desire a 1/48 Mega Size model.

  17. Wait... they're actually considering of making a HG release of this beast of Mobile Armor!? Kudos to Bandai for having the guts to make this thing, but I don't think it's for me. Seems like a kit of that size would be a real wallet buster.

  28. It's frustrating to think Bandai going to make this when they don't even make a 1/144 HGUC Nightangle which is way smaller and more popular than Neo Zeong.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. They're banking on the impact of UC episode 7 on this one.
And popularity isn't even a fair point of comparison since the Neo Zeong's a new design,

      Delete
    2. @anon 10:32, companies tend to do this thing where they hold off on the "big hitters" as a fail safe to use if they ever hit the financial shitfan. You don't think they are aware that Nightingale would be a HUGE seller?
      Trust me.. they know.
Think of it as their insurance.

      Delete
    3. Not difficult for a design that's been around for years and years to be more popular than a design that was only just announced days ago...

      Delete
  29. Payback is a bitch. Sieg Zeon!

    ReplyDelete
  30. 80 cm!? That's the size of a toddler!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Exactly what I'm thinking.
Probably I'll pass, not too fond with the design, plus I'll have to buy a new rack for displaying this monster :D

      Delete
  31. And look at it's release date: April 2014 - its very quick. you've got 3 months left to prepare your money.

But seriously this must have a display stand specially when you detached those booster legs. The arms looks detachable too like the original Zeong so additional stands are needed (well 3 display stand overall)

and finally is that Sinanju really detachable? if yes then I hope it has the same equipments as the standard Sinanju.

With this around, HGUC Neue Ziel, Alpha Aziel and Laffressia is now possible

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I think the release date is undecided according to the article actually.

  32. Now for those suckers who buy the MG Phenex I hope you still have money for this

    1. I can buy a car with the left over funds, nice try kid

      Delete
  33. Wonder if they will make it a bit more... hmm, simplified, they have the technology to make model kits with several colours with less parts(like the AG;s from Gundam Age) The best bet is to think they might make it less complex so it could sell more, a kit that's most likely going to be about $350 is not really going to appeal to a lot of customers. Also the computer image also points to a more basic design, also just remembered the mega sized kits and they are only $44 on HLJ.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This is a HGUC kit. HGUC has a quality standard that all of the kits follow (although the standard is being raised higher with each release). If you're thinking it's going to be advanced grade-ish quality, that won't happen. High grades lack an inner frame, so I imagine that a lot of this kit is going to be hollow, if not most of it.

      Delete
    2. I understand what your referring to, but what I'm trying to say it that they probably will do the colour separation in the same fashion as the AG's but make it looking a lot better. It's almost certain that it will be 90% hollow, but there has to be something in place to make the price less. If this kit is about $150 I would say it's a pretty good investment and is logical in terms of business because you could make a mass production run and make a massive sale because of one gimmick, "IT'S THE BIGGEST HGUC AROUND!!" no one, even hard core fans would spend $400 on a model like this, I could see it may be for a resin kit, but this?

      Delete
    3. Oh no no no this kit will not be anywhere near 150$. The dendrobium 1/144 was over 300$, and overall this guy is larger than it, I'm estimating the price tag @ the 400 range.

      Delete
    4. 25000 Yen. So yeah you're pretty close. It might be 400 after shipping charges, and or whether not Bandai doesn't adjust the prices.

      Delete

    1. MG? This monster is already big !
And the price ? My poor poor wallet...

    ReplyDelete
  36. SOLD to me,with this I have another reason to not buying a mega sized modelXD

    ReplyDelete
  37. They make this but they dont want to make an MG Kshatriya! WTf bandai!

    ReplyDelete
  38. I was hoping for this!!!! Wonder they will get other giants too!?!??!?!

And my lonely Dendrobium gets a company

    ReplyDelete
  39. Can't say they can't make a MG Kshatriya now, cost doesn't seem to be an issue now for them.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Dat naming, been thinking about "Neo Zeong"since I knew zeong and neo zeon

    ReplyDelete
  41. Are they serious? Looks like bandai open gate for massive kit, maybe HGUC Big zam or Neue Ziel next time. Holy crap even Big Zam is half size of Neo Zeong

      Delete
  43. Bandai's taking a risk on this one. I wonder if it will come with a 1/144 Sinanju that can be detached or if it will be just molded on the chest?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This will come with everything the normal Sinanju has, I hope they give us the bazooka as well so I don't have to waste my money on a Driessen.

      Delete
    2. Of course it will come with the 1/144 Sinanju (although, maybe not all of his accessories and weapons). But yes I'm sure the 1/144 Sinanju is included, like how the Stamen is included with Dendrobium. Judging by how much this 3 foot tall high grade is going to end up costing, the Sinanju would just be a tiny dent in the price (We're looking at around 400 USD).

      Delete
  44. Is this thing........ popular? :/. There's a lot of designs that I like a lot better than this one. That I once size/complexity could be an issue, but they're much simpler and smaller than this one. Maybe they're just not popular enough. I figure if a HGUC dendrobium and HGUC Kshatriya(and this "Neo Zeong" monster) something like an HGUC Xi would be technologically feasible to fabricate. If Bandai actually felt like it. :|

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. No, since it's a new design. Bandai seems to be hoping fans buy this as the final Unicorn OVA comes out. It'll probably be a limited thing just like the Dendrobium.

And popularity doesn't always seem to be the factor in GunPla releases. Bandai kind of works in mysterious ways.

      Delete
    2. Well, the thing that this has going for it (and the sole reason the hguc is happening) is because i'ts new, and it's the final big badguy of the OVA. None of those other old mobile armors are new, they don't have the hype going for them that this guy will, etc.

      Delete
    3. yes BanDai works in mysterious ways which resulted for a Dragon Momoko's Talgeese III

i'm still thinking why bandai is making this move exactly now....beside the roll out of ep 7 obviously!

      Delete
  49. I'd personally much rather a Byg Zam or Neue Ziel, which unlike the scale pictures they've posted on here is about the same size as the Neo Zeong (check out the scale of it with the Dendrobium 1/400 figure). The design is certainly an interesting mesh of big mobile armors from the past series/movies/ova and will undoubtedly have some gimmicks we don't see in the prototype. I am sure they're hoping for sales based on UCs last episode but from even the yen doing better than it was 3 years ago.(why we've had a drop in some prices) I can't imagine it being less than $200 no matter how they simplify anything. If anything it seems likely to be in the $300+ range so all we can do for now is speculate till Bandai releases more info/prototypes of it so see whats what. It'll be interesting to see in such a large design how "good" a kit this will actually be considering the GP-03D is not only dated; but very simple in joints, details, and these past 10 or so years since it the have come a long way. I for one though; am hoping this means they might not shy away from Mobile Armors or larger suits if this thing sells well enough.

  62. IfyoucouldnttelliwantnightingalebadlyFebruary 25, 2014 at 6:46 AM

Well if they do release this, can we also get a HGUC Nightingale? Pretty please with cherry on top Bandai? I mean how many kits/figures/statues/features in video games are we going to get with the redesigned Hi-Nu from 2006 without his crimson rival Nightingale nowhere to be found? I mean come on if they can make a humongous HGUC like the Neo Zeong you can spare some of that red plastic for some Nightingale love right?

    ReplyDelete
  63. The article says it will come out in June, not April.

    ReplyDelete
  64. they just changed the release date from april now in june,,lol :))

    ReplyDelete
  65. Yeah more excited for this than Reconguista. The price is actually reasonable.

      Delete
  69. now that there is a actual prototype to see......that is...a lot and I mean a lot of plastic.......o.o

    ReplyDelete
  70. I wonder if this will be a limited one time run or if they will continue to make them for years to come. At that cost I don't know how many shops would want to keep stocking them after the initial hype.

    ReplyDelete
  71. "Bandai IS serial killer, for our wallet"

"Busting your wallet is Bandai's bread and butter."

    This thread is great.

And hey, pricing on this guy isn't that bad

    ReplyDelete
  72. So it looks like the price is ¥27000 which is about $263.73 US give or take the exchange rate. That's ¥300 higher than the current most expensive PG, Wing Gundam Zero Custom Pearl Mirror Coat Version. Price is pretty crazy but at least it wasn't in the ridiculous $300-$400 ranges people thought it would be initially. If they can produce this I don't see why they can't make an MG Kshatriya as it couldn't possibly be as expensive as this. I'd even settle for it if it was an online exclusive which I'm really surprised that the Neo Zeong isn't.

    ReplyDelete
  73. next time they must not make gunpla for bad design ms, look at this the long legs is even not consistent with the body, what is this, please!!

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Those aren't legs, they're propellant tanks. Neo Zeong doesn't have legs just like the original Zeong that it's based off of.

      Delete
    2. It.... it doesn't even have legs, sir. What the fuck did I just read?

      Delete
  74. I just thought about how much this thing would cost to ship out *shudders*

    ReplyDelete
  75. It has THREE sets of arms !!!

    ReplyDelete
  76. Wow is that Sinanju Bazooka included? that's cool (^_^)

Sigh but I'll pass on this one since I'm already contented with the HGUC Sinanju... I'll prefer other kits that worth 27k yen (i can buy 3-4 MGs or 10-15 HGs with this hehe). I'll prefer other Gigantic kits like HG Psycho Gundam Mk-2, Destroy Gundam and Divinidad over this (if they'll make one in the future)

But regarding those legs.. I wonder if some time in the future a MSV "Perfect Neo Zeong" will appear (if the unit is only 80% completed like the original Zeong)

    ReplyDelete
  77. They need money to create a real RX-78-2 Gundam in 2019.... as Gundam geeks dream of.

    But I hope it's better than China's real RX-93-v2 Hi-Nu Gundam

    ReplyDelete
  78. I'll pass on this, but would love a neue ziel or val varo... I hate most ma, except anything from 0083 and my gp03 is quite lonely

    ReplyDelete
  79. it has the bazooka!? well i guess I will just have to buy it...

    ReplyDelete
  80. They're changing the color of the Sinanju a little bit yo

    ReplyDelete
  81. Are those side binders capable of detaching like funnels & emitting beam axes?
If so, it would be wickedly sick!

    ReplyDelete
  82. I like seeing it fully colored finally, but still....no. To those who want it, go get it and enjoy building it.

    ReplyDelete
  83. So, are we absolutely sure this comes with 1/44 Sinanju? I've been like 99% sure it will from the start, just wondering if there's been actual confirmation. Can't imagine it wouldn't.

    ReplyDelete
  84. What gimmicks does it come with?

It's rather boring so far, even in the trailers all it did was hover around.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Just saw that this big guy actually has 6 ARMS!
I thought they are thrusters on the back but realized they are actually arms without hands when I saw it in full color.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Those "arms" don't even appear to be extendable over his shoulders, they will be pretty useless without some super extendable hand gimmick.

Also can we get a translation on the "POINT" 1-7 from the recent image?

      Delete
    2. May be they all are funnels or incom? I am thinking about Zeong with 6 remote arms.

      Delete
  86. At Anon 12:49: Dude shut up. Of course they're not gonna give away all the cool stuff in the trailer. Not much is known so I would wait before putting it down like a moron.

    ReplyDelete
  87. What does POINT 6 means?
Does it has "T" - like endoskeleton/inner frame?
As for Dendrobium, it has 3 pieces of metal acted as inner strength...

    ReplyDelete
  88. It comes with a psycoframe T?

    ReplyDelete
  89. Can someone translate Point 6 and Point 7 on the poster-like image?

    ReplyDelete
  90. I can translate from what I read:

    Point 1: Sinanju separable
Point 2: Huge model mecha details
    Point 3: Propellant tank detachable
    Point 4: Sinanju custom bazooka
Point 5: Comes with special / dedicated stand
Point 6: Utilizing high strength frame
Point 7: Warning. More Gimmicks to come

    ReplyDelete
  91. Point 1: Sinanju is detachable
Point 2: Mechanical details as in most large size models
Point 3: Propellant tank is detachable
Point 4: Sinanju's customized bazooka is materialized for the first time (for HG I guess)
Point 5: Special custom base is included
Point 6: Highly durable frame is used
Point 7: And so on, more gimmicks is included

    ReplyDelete
  92. Are those extra giant arms/hands in the back? o_o

    ReplyDelete

    2. Why include yourself? I'm obviously not talking about someone who doesn't like the idea of huge kits. I'm talking about people who like the idea.

  97. Now with the latest pics from Gundam UC Navigation goods.... It's more like a Zeon-made Gundam GP03

dual bazooka looks awesome, those shoulder looks like weapon containers, extra humongous arms (I wonder if they work like bits) and those pointy shoulder are..... still a design?!?!

It's totally awesome and yup time to scream:

    GATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! oops! I mean... UNICOOOOOOOOOORN!!!!!

  101. The art on the box art is a shot from the back? Interesting choice. I don't think we've seen anything like that since the Zaku Minelayer from the 80s.

  104. geez, do we really need to keep having more and more pics of this thing being added? it's not all that complex because of it's size, we've already seen every corner of it since like the 2nd post about it for christs sake. now it's just spam eating up space on the blog. we don't need anymore coverage of this niche kit.

  105. Screw the watermark. Hope gginfinite folds up.

  106. Will the Sinanju be included in that kit? If yes, I'm assuming its the HG Sinanju right?

    1. The "giant ring" (psycho shard) is a premium bandai add-on. There won't be a master grade lol
