  1. I think a lot of fans were taken by surprise when this guy was announced and realized that it uses the 2.0 frame instead of the 3.0.

I'm not surprised by this since this is just a color variation of an existing kit. Regardless, I think the 2.0 frame is actually better than the 3.0 (well it's more like a 2.5 frame..). It looks more anime accurate whereas the 3.0 looks like they tried to go the whole RG-inspired (not copied) multi-tone outer frame with the new 3.0 MG hands.

If I was an RX-78-2 fan, I'd be scared since there are so many releases based on the 2.0 RX-78-2, and this one just adds another one to the pot. Still pretty cool for fans though.

    1. Gundam 3.0 is a RG design. Everytime Bandai wish to collate the new features/designs of Gunpla, they put them onto Gundam. Gundam #.0 is the showcase of model engineering.

      I haven't owned a RX-78 kit since the O.Y.W version. .-.

    2. 3.0 Gundam is not a real grade design. They both are designed to look like the 1:1 Gundam statue.

And I agree suiton. 2.0 frame seems to be much better than the 3.0's frame, sadly.

  2. Never been a fan of the original FA colour scheme, but I LOVE this blue. Doesn't seem to have anything different than the regular otherwise though...

I wish Thunderbolt Gundam colors where more similar to this, I'd like it a little more

  3. Wow, those stickers are nightmareishly shit. Right on the most prominent parts of the armour. How awful, if you want to make it look good you need to paint it, which cancels out the point of buying this kit in the first place.
