  1. I kind of would have wanted it, if it wasn't in violet.

    2. There are three units - one is violet, one is blue, one is red.

Personally, I like the color scheme a lot, but as I said before, this gunpla lacks the full equipment of the real Destiny Impulse (the backpack doesn't have a "head", and the MS comes with twin antiship swords, twin beam boomerangs and twin beam shields).

Unit 1 is purple. Though with the VPS, it's legitimately whatever color the pilot/ground team want, so go nuts. And there is a blue unit on the list too.

  3. I wonder if they are going to re-engineer any of the problems that the original MG Destiny had?

    1. Well that's a MG Impulse, so...
And while I'm at it, what problems are you referring to, if I may ask?

  4. I like over-the-shoulder cannons as much as the neXt guy but that's all it has? Seems like a rather boring design since we already have the Destiny which has slightly more to offer. So...how can it defend itself up-close? No beam saber holders? No boomerangs. Pass.

    1. The Destiny Impulse is supposed to have two Excalibur swords and beam boomerangs in the elbows. This is a weirdly incomplete model. I agree with you, Pass.

    2. This isn't the original Destiny Impulse. This is the simplified 'Destiny Impulse R' remanufactured by an unspecified ZAFT contractor in the Gundam SEED Destiny Astray R series. The original Destiny Impulse had too many power and maintenance issues, so they trimmed down the arsenal.

  5. This MS reminds me that the Destiny had many flaws and it should be done differently.... one of them was the wings unable to go backwards, if Destiny impulse can do it I'm pretty sure it's already a better model than Destiny
