i'm not that surprised, seeing as most of the time it's hidden behind the skirt armor.. bandai's known to cut corners and i'm not surprised about this, although that little nitpick aside, this model looks amazing, i can't wait till it gets here
Yes, agreed, that was probably one of the better places to cut corners on plastic. It just looks a little odd, next to how it was implemented on the MG Wing TV version.
Not a deal-breaker by any means. I'm still excited about this one - I may not have liked Gundam Wing as a series but its mecha designs are still some of the best around.
Third to the last photo (the dashing shot) shows a pretty naked hip-leg joint - all internal frame and no external armor. That's a surprise.
ReplyDeleteOverall the model looks stunning otherwise.
Yeah, that actually looks a bit strange.

Not good enough. I'll pass this one.
ReplyDeleteI'm going for upcoming MG Astray Noir, Exia R2, or Age-2 SpecOp instead.
Who cares?
DeleteThe Op is suiton
DeleteSomeone actually wants the Astray Noir? Wow. Paint the Age 2 white and cream and you have Spec Op. Done deal.
DeleteWas the beam saber handle always that small on Wing Zero? It looks pretty ridiculous like ReZEL's tiny nub for a beam saber.
