I plan to get this kit in the near future,I am wondering how do you get the gold paint like that???
A black undercoat (recommend using lacquer black gloss - primer is optional). Then using Tamiya X-12 Gold should do the job, or you can use any gold spray paint.

what topcoat is used? :O
I think he used the gloss kind. But doesnt sanding affects the finish? Or does the gloss coat hides the sanding marks too?
