  1. Those thrusters on the back are looking good. Hopefully it won't part-swap too much. The tv transformation looked pretty simple enough. Is this part of that all-gundam campaign by Bandai?

    1. IIRC the old 1/144 Wing had no part swapping.

    2. ^Yup, it's just a matter of attaching the rifle to the shield and attaching both to the back, then twisting the hip part 180

    3. Wing Gundam's transformation is so simple you don't need parts swapping to accomplish it. Its transformation is literally designed so that it can be emulated by a model kit without removing anything. Well, maybe except the hands, but that's a minor point.

    4. this a bit off topic but speaking of HG All Gundam campaign, why do they forget about Turn-A Gundam or HGCC?

yes, I agree, it's looking good and definitely gonna buy this.

    6. That is one thing I hate out the RD wing zero that recently came out. You have to swap the legs and swap the torso.

    7. Oh, I see. I've been building HGUCs, and got used to the part swapping. Just wondering as I've never built the old wing gundam kit.

    8. @Jimmie James I actually don't mind the parts forming for the legs on the Wing Zero RD. Mainly because the figure's ability to stand would have been greatly hampered if they didn't do it that way. I have the old MSIA transformable, and it is a chore to get it to stand. So yeah quit complaining. I'd rather have a figure that is completely capable of standing on its own without fiddling around with too much as it is, especially since I pose it on the ground most of the time. Also I leave the secondary torso piece in it, because the one that mine came packaged with is way too wonky for my liking. Not too mention that is still a great figure, and I am quite pleased I have it : ) Besides you do realize that the feet actually fold up inside the legs on the Wing Zero, right? They couldn't have done it any other way for the figure, so in a way it was a genius idea.

    10. LOL thank you, and no problem. I was trying to be as kind as I possibly could, and believe me I know how difficult it is through text alone(not trying to sound arrogant or anything like that). I mean really I'd rather be nice to people than a jerk any given day of the week : )

  10. those high angled shoulders do make it look a little sharper. kits with 'boxier' shoulders don't age too well. looks wise, it's almost as good as the mg.

  11. Disappointing boxart after the recent awesome ones. But kit-wise, sweet!

    2. a little bit more on the cartoony side but still good. though I can relate to that when looking at the other hguc releases that favored a grittier, more epic-scaled boxarts.

  13. I was wondering, to achieve how it looks, do we need to paint it? or it's the real deal unboxed?
