can't help thinking that the concept is reused from a rather less prominent frame from gundam seed. The CGUE Deep Arms: http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/YFX-200_CGUE_DEEP_Arms
Dude, no. CGUE DEEP Arms? Try ORX-005 Gaplant, circa 1987. High-performance variable mobile suit with twin shoulder-mounted cannons. Its flight mode even looks more or less identical.
V2 Gundam was the first to have some sort of a Wings of Light that could be used as a weapon. Although different from the DB's beam blades, this is what the AGE 2 pays tribute to.
I think that Bandai is just working on when to reveal things, and I think they're also trying to work on the Normal, Orbital, and Fortress at the same time so that they can release them consecutively within a month (or so) of each other like what they did with the Age-1 line of MG's..
Then there's the thing where they can do a online exclusive for the Age-FX Full Burst variant, MG Age-1 Full Gransa...
And then there's the fact that we're getting the MG Age-1 Unit 2 without the Assault Jacket strangely so maybe they might be working on the Assault Jacket parts; or not.
Oh and we can't forget about the fact that they're doing an online exclusive for the Age-2 Normal SP Ver.
On top of that, Bandai just announced the MG 3.0 line with the RX-78-2 so I'm sure we'll see all the usual stuff like Zaku, Gun Cannon, etc.
And with Unicorn, Seed RM line (and likely Seed Destiny RM), etc. I think Bandai just has a lot on their plates and they can't just release everything all at once. That would over-saturate the market.
If ever they'll release MG AGE-1 Full Gransa, I wish they release it as a regular MG. I can't afford online exclusives. But if they release it as just an add-on parts like the ballute system for MG Marasai even if it is an online exclusive that, I think, I can afford.
I'm thinking you might have the option of putting them there from the age-2 normal maybe. That might be what the disappearing and reappearing circular parts on the shoulders are for.
i'm hoping that they fixed the knee problems
ReplyDeleteThose bulky missile pods/thrusters at the back of the legs might just do the trick.
DeleteDamn the effect part is looking sick can't wait to see the final version of this guy
ReplyDeleteSo beautifuuuuul! They should have made this first before dark hound.
ReplyDeleteThink the effect part needs to be longer :D
ReplyDeleteLooks a lot like the Raiser Sword effect part, which is what I did with my HG
I hope they "accidentally" include the hyper dods rifle of AGE-2 normal in the runners. XD
ReplyDeleteWow they added the SD feature here.
ReplyDeleteI like that!
Screw the watermarks. hope gginfinite folds up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a peculiarly odd little troll...
DeleteI am going to buy something from gginfinite right away. Sorry for bad mouthing you. gginfinite for life!
Deletelol, this GG troll is fuckin' retarded! hilarious XD
DeleteLol G.G that was such a hilarious antic
DeleteI love this troll! everytime i see gginfinite post a scan, i click to see if "Screw the watermarks. hope gginfinite folds up" shows up. :P.
Deletesuiton and that new guy seedsucks are just annoying.
I usually don't care for age kits. But this is looking sharp

ReplyDeleteMech with shoulder cannon is hardly anything new or original

DeleteDat box art
ReplyDeleteMG AGE-3 and MG AGE-FX were announced way before Double Bullet right? Wonder what happened with those two suits.
ReplyDeleteWill be interesting to see what MG releases will happen between September and December

DeleteBox art is underwhelming, but I cannot wait. This is the only design I appreciated in AGE. I liked the others, but this stood out so much.
ReplyDeleteso, the final work they remove that button circle-like from the shoulder... that's make less detail
ReplyDeleteps: sorry for being fussy
Wait, are the AGE-1 Normal wings on that magazine scan red? I wonder if this kit will come with those parts.

DeleteSo, this MG has the feature of Age-2 SD? Innnnteressting!
DeleteCan u not?
