Gundam UC Episode 6 "Two Worlds, Two Tomorrows" - First 7 Mins Streamed in English

Penultimate chapter to debut on March 2 with theme by Aimer
Bandai's Anime Channel service began streaming the first seven minutes from episode 6 of the Mobile Suit Gundam UC anime series in English on Friday.

The "Sora to Hoshi to [Uchū to Chikyū to]" ("Two Worlds, Two Tomorrows" or literally, Space, Earth, and…) episode will debut on March 2, 2013 in 16 theaters — four more theaters than the previous episodes had. It will also stream on-demand on that date.
The 16 theaters will sell exclusive theater editions of the episode's Blu-ray Disc, while regular stores will begin offering the Blu-ray and DVD on March 22. Both the exclusive theater edition and the limited first edition at retail will have a special 110-minute bonus Blu-ray Disc with the entire "Film & Live 2012" event from May 13 of last year, as well as an "episode 6 making & interview video."
The sixth episode was to have been the final one of the series, but the "Film & Live 2012" event revealed that there will be a seventh one "in the near future."

  1. Looks like they will continue to diverge from the novels (& the majority of "The Sky and the Stars") and jump right to the end

    1. Care to elaborate what happens? If the show's skipping important plot points I want to know what they are.

  2. Does anyone think there'll be a re-release of the Robot Damashii Sinanju (with the bazooka)? Bandai just re-released the Sinanju in the last quarter of 2007, but with all the milking going on in Unicorn, I'm hoping they'll make a version with the bazooka.

  3. The Sinanju is too way powerful in this humble viewer's opinion, intense, yes, will be nice to see the complete episode

    1. But the Sinanju prowess is much more refined than the Rozen Zulu, which was just "cheap" in my opinion. Pitiful to see the Rezels destroyed like that.

I especially loved that slight sluggish movement when the Sinanju kicked away from the enemy.

  4. I found this preview was kinda underwhelming compared to the last few episodes. Lines in the dub also delivered a bit too fast in places like for Full Frontal. Still excited though, looks like its setting up the endgame.

    1. I'm was thinking the same. It's not only the lines, but it also seems like the battle scenes were also too sluggish and not properly coordinated.

Underwhelming preview, and definitely NOT as exciting as Unicorn's first action with the Kshatriya.

  5. LOL of course the captain of the enemy ship has to be some fat guy.

  6. I like how after hearing ship captains bark out orders about deploying some sort of anti beam screen for 35 years, we finally get to see what it actually does.

  7. It is cheap for two suits to overwhelm the huge battleship General Revel. But if Char took out three ships in a Zaku back in the one year war, I guess it only makes sense for a very refined suit like the Sinanju to completely own the battlefield

The anti beam screen was cool. And as usual the battle was staged and executed very smoothly

    1. Char destroyed multiple ships when he had no MS opponent at Loum. General Revil had like 20 something top of the line complement of A2 Jegan and ReZELs on screen, not counting the theoretical full 48 MS capacity. This battle is as bullshit as any of the CE battles. UC is genuinely ruined now. I am betting on Banagher "disabling" the entire Neo-Zeon by itself in episode 7.

    2. Char destroyed multiple ships by using his mobile suit strategically in the Battle of Loum which earned him his title Red Comet. Full Frontal was just charging in recklessly to show off.

What a shallow "analysis" if there is any analysis at all to speak of. Stereotyping is the usual occurrence too these days. For real, get over the so called "all bullshit CE battles", CE has shown many times battle in lower number of mobile suits count that was done nicely. Truthfully, most battle in the later half were cheaply animated due to bad budget planning but NOT all, get this into your egoistic bird brain.
Now to this battle specifically. The Rozen Zulu's display of power were cheaply animated considering the fact that funnels' tech is nothing new by this far into the war of UC, for an entire fleet of presumably "elite troops" to have this low level of responsiveness is illogical, true, that much I can agree with. Yet, Full Frontal's battle were sublimely done, he dispatch individual suit beautifully with sound tactical plan by launching a set of long barrage first to lower defense then get closer to a more effective range to damage the ship and its weapons. The reason he doesn't kill is still unknown considering how calculative he is shown before, could've possibly be to deliver a warning and to display his power or even some ulterior motives. Banagher, as "glorified" as kids like you labelled him to be, has never been shown to be able to deal with a large amount of troops so your prediction is practically nonsense. Arguing "I can tell by how this is going", which is practically only 7 mins into the movie, is nonsense speculation.
I like old-school UC but I am no where near this level of illogical stupidity...Try enjoying new stuff for a change and stop eating hater's garbage to judge a series before it's even ended.

LOL YOU MAD BRO? I enjoyed Unicorn quite a bit up for the up to ep 4, but it doesn't mean this entire sequence is not bullshit. This is obviously a lame attempt at making Angelo and Frontal powerful, so that Unicorn can be justified to have a flawless victory at the end similar to SEED Destiny. The novel ending already had Banagher destroying the entire Neo-Zeon in FA Unicorn and the half damaged Kshatriya. It's only logical that they will put this "disable" stuff on to Banagher the pacifist. Before you say the OVA ending is supposed to be different, it's unlikly to change signifcantly other than plot reshuffling considering the changes that has been seen so far in the other episodes.

  9. Well that was robot porn, akin to when the Sinanju first appeared in the second episode :)

  10. That was really cool but not what I expected from the end of the last episode. In the last one it looked like Full Frontal had his bazooka cocked and in range to drop a big nasty in the bridge.

    1. I was also surprised to see the Sinanju not being cocked at the bridge of that ship... Not only that but it wasn't sunk at all. And more battle trouble would have been nice as well... The Nahel Argama attacked Palou and the Sinaju wasnt fighting alone then, hell, it took the whole damned zeon fleet to fight off just that ship, then the Rozen zulu and the Sinanju take down a ship twice the size and capacity. Oh well as it just a sci fi television series we should all give it a little leeway. Just think of it as a tall tale. Full Frontal is Paul Bunyon damnit...

    2. Pretty sure the fight at Palou was staged so he could watch the unicorn in NTD mode in action. He literally toyed with the Nahel Argama in episode 2 until the Unicorn showed up, and made it very clear that he could sink it at any time. It's hardly a strech given what the Sinanju did in episode 2 that in a battlefield without the Unicorn and backed up by another very powerful suit that it could basically solo an "elite" squad.

Had he wanted to he could have easily wiped the entire squad out with kills, and their ship. I think it's very clear that what he was doing is basically a show, probably to try and get Banagher on side so he will cooperate with him.

  11. Nice battle, but I am disappointed to see no action from ReZel Defenser B-Unit. I think the only time I saw it on screen was when they were retreating.

  12. Don't worry Banagher I'm sure you can convince both sides to UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER... At least until F91 and Victory.

  13. It's funny how every episode of Unicorn has made the Federation pilots look less and less competent compared to the Zeon.
