    Seems to be the movie version of things, in which yes, after a long, multi-staged fight, Amuro and the Nu pummel the living dog-shit outta Char and the Sazabi. The beauty of it is that the fight between two mobile suits so heavily armed with various weapons eventually comes down to puching and kicking, a contest that Char loses humiliatingly. Don't fuck with Amuro!
