Recent maintenace work on the Gundam monument '大地から - From The Earth' @ Kami-Igusa Station (Seibu-Shinjuku) had been completed. The Gundam monument was erected in March 2008, and the statue stands approximately 190cm tall (6 feet).
The creator of Gundam, Yoshiyuki Tomino, went to check on the completed work himself.
