While the transformation may be simple, it's enough to create a very different silhouette on the kit, kinda like the No-Grade Astray Mirage Frame 2nd Issue had a simplistic & gimmicky transformation but like the Gafran, it's effective enough to create a beast-like appearance.
I like the colors too, kinda like the Jesta's - it's dark blue & gray, which makes for great camo in space ^_^
I imagine a Master Grade version will make for a better transformation. As it is, I think the feet & tail gimmicks are ingenious. The wrists & ankles just need a little work. And the tail/rifle doesn't seem to be able to swing properly under the arm like in the anime.
