Since there are some who let the rumor cat out of the bag a little early, I guess I would not delay this post any longer. A rumored MG 1:100 model kit.... any guesses? =)
How is it nonexistent? An Epyon Ver. Ka sound more out of the question; if Katoki ever did a redesign of it, there would have been sketches of it a long long time ago. Even then if he were to make one then or now, I doubt it would look any different from how it looks in the show.
Finally the ultimate Gundam unit that could par with Wing Zero, Too bad its Endless Waltz Designs don't include this masterpiece...But nevertheless less..
It's just lies. Please don't get your hopes up, we've seen nothing except phoney "announcement" images that are obvious photoshops. Until you see pictures of the actual thing, it isn't true.
@Anon: Thats why this is rumored, they don't have official images yet. The image is probably just there to let us know what it is going to be, but is not the actual kit itself.
Since they have been making the EW kits, a show accurate Epyon probably will not happen. An Epyon Ver.ka seems likely, or a tallgeese III. It seems just too random.
Then again, they might choose to make one and release it the same time as the as yet not announced wing zero. Then I hope they also make a Tallgeese, to match the wing gundam.
Im not a big fan of Wing and I'm sad that Wing is getting all the MG attention right now... Oh well. Its probably the best choice they could make considering Wing's fan base is still huge compared to many others.
I hope they don't leave behind the grunt units from Gundam Wing or the OVA. A Leo, Aries or Serpent would be awesome. We also don't have any information regarding the Epyon, they just announced a new MG, the 00 Raiser seems to be a reality, wich im sad to hear, because all the 00 kits that bandai has been releasing, i hope this is a GW or UC kit.
Shamus, I still don't understand why you think a show accurate Epyon is unlikely. It has a better chance than "Epyon Ver.ka", which is even more random. And Tallgeese (1) has a better chance over the Tallgeese III, as it's paired with TV Wing Gundam. Don't count the TV designs out yet just because current trends say otherwise. Epyon doesn't need Wing Gundam 0; it's been a fan favourite all on it's own since it's inception.
Gundam Guy, would you happen to have the source of where the image comes from? I've seen Japanese version of this picture with Epyon in an ordinary standing pose. It would be greatly appreciated to know to confirm the credibility of such rumours.
Epyon? Well it certainly fits with the Wing theme that's been going on in the MG line lately but I'm not holding my breath until I see a prototype or an announcement from Bandai.
this is true, you gonna believe me,and those who are saying about this upcoming mg. 1999.co.jp/eng then switch to MG 1/100. epyon gundam EW version is the latest.

ReplyDelete@Anonymous,
ReplyDeleteThey revealed that it is an 'EW'. Inspired, if not directly designed, by Katoki(check GG's new blog post.) So the argument is settled.
