I didn't mind the grey in the preview pics but I saw the real kit today in a shop and man, the grey is just AWFUL. Totally killed my boner (so to speak). Definitely need to paint the frame, otherwise the kit is such a disappointment.
I don't see any nub marks on the gold parts. Could somebody tell me how to remove nub marks on a gold plated model kit such as the phenex? I remember seeing this 'one point step' that implies on how to remove the nub marks but I can't understand Japanese at all.
Nice but the plain grey is a total turn-off...

Luckily there isn't a lot of gray so it should be easier to paint the gray parts a color you like.

ReplyDeleteI think it says to paint them with a mix of gold, clear yellow and clear orange.
DeleteIt also mentions panel lining but when I tried that with my delta plus the gold melted off so :s
