Mobile Suit Gundam UC: Episode 7 'Over The Rainbow' - New Mobile Suit Design Fan Art [Updated 2/11/14]

Mobile Suit Gundam UC - Episode 7 'Over The Rainbow' (Coming in Spring 2014)
A design art for a new mobile suit (or mobile armor) to appear in the final episode of Gundam UC.  Any guesses as to what this mobile suit could be?   Leave us your thoughts in the comment area below.
[Updated 2/11/14]
Image via AEMedia. Could this possibly be the red Mobile Armor?
[Updated 7/24/13]
Another site is saying this design is confirmed as official, but I can't find anything to support that. The two new images below come from a image board a few months ago.
Full Frontal's New Mobile Armor?
Sinanju Light Armor Ver.

[Updated 4/7/13]
Looks like the new mobile suit might be revealed?  Actually this is a fan art by a japanese artist.  (Thanks Juno Uno for the image link and confirmation that it is fan-art.)

A gimplse of this mobile suit was seen in Episode 6...?
Here is a fan sketch...LOL (by kzhcan)
Thanks for hooking up the images Jonathan Rios

    1. It's not from the novel. The Banshee's Armed Armours did not exist there too.

    3. Sinanju/Zeong MA hybrid? It kinda makes sense, if the linearts are to be believed. Eh, what the hell. We should wait until the movie comes out to judge ourselves.

    6. Well what makes you think Full Frontal will live? Consider the series and protagonist. I'm go on and say Marida dies in the novel. Not even a shocker, seeing as no cyber new type has lived till the end. Outside of UC, only Allenby and Louise survive, IIRC.

Its not cool...you lose a lot of the surprise and thrills but there's always jerks who love to blurt out story details...sad.

  15. It would seem like they are combining the upper body of the Sinanju, lower torso of the Kshatriya (with no legs) and deploy able arms of the Rosen Zulu... to resemble a Zeong like MS. Interesting... it resembles the final MS of Char in the original Gundam series.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. How can they combine parts of Kshatriya ans Rozen zulu with it when those suits are still being used by their pilots?

      Delete
    2. I haven't seen episode 6 so I'm making a wild guess. Sorry. At any rate... it looks like a homage to Char's final suit during the one year war... a Zeong like mobile armor... may it be from wreckage or completely brand new.

    1. LMFAO u made my day with that

But its obviously a new Zeong homage developed from the Zeong, Sinanju, and most likely other Sleeve mobile suits, that much is immediately clear from EP 6 and Gundams tradition for throwing homages into every series/OVAs

  19. It does appear to have a horn though, so they could go so far as to have some element of unicorn in there, though I had first hypothesized that it'd be part Kraken Zulu... sadly, gotta wait nearly a year (or so I read) for it which is the bigger let down.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Some mobile armor upgrade for Banshee after Riddhe got his ass owned by Unicorn.? or some giant mobile armor to support Sinanju, possibly an upgrade for the Rozen Zulu? or The Laplace Box itself..(this would be a bit too AGE like though, too predictable)?

These are my wild guess, lol.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Its full frontal's own MA to fight the Unicorn because he knows Sinanju is not enough.

      Delete
    2. Laplace's Box is nothing so complicated. In fact you've already seen it in the first episode. That's all I'll say.

And by the way, Banagher Links is another Perform Enhance New-Type like Maridan san

      Happy now? XD

      Delete
    4. I don't remember Banagher receiving cyber newtype treatments like those crazy bitches from Titan and Neo Zeon, besides his mother took him away from Cardias when he was little after she can no longer tolerates Cardias for treating him like a lab rat with those Flanagan instruments.

Therefore to say that Banagher is a cyber newtype is inappropriate. What more, Full Frontal is the cyber newtype here

      Delete
    5. No & Yes, Banagher is not a Cyber New Type but a Perform Enhance New Type, from novel view, Anonymous 10:49 you right, but this is a OVA ver. you can see clearly in the beginning of Episode 2 and the dialogue between Full Frontal & Banagher in the newest Episode, there was no mind nor psycho manipulation, but neuro-physical enhancement make him stronger

    1. No. There are no aliens in UC.

    2. You definitely won't be seeing aliens in Unicorn. It would have been mentioned in F91, Victory or G-Saviour if there was.

      Delete
    3. well bandai was trying that in crossbone gundam ghost

and remember 00, it was unexpected. at least for me.

And lets hope that we won't be seeing aliens. cause Iwould not like the idea.

      Delete
    4. Maybe Banagher will have a vision of aliens building the Turn A Gundam if Bandai wants to link up with CC. Remember Turn A and Turn X was supposedly built with alien technology.

      Delete
    5. No the Turn X was built by humans that had left our solar system and one of them fell to earth. The people of earth were shocked at how advanced interstellar technology had became that they reverse engineered the Turn A from the Turn X as a means to defend themselves in case they had to fight more of them.

      Delete
    6. Although humans built the Turn X, the technology came from aliens I think. Anyway it's left vague in the series so anything's possible. If you take Correct Century as the end of UC then having aliens isn't so far fetched.

And by the look of this thing, don't ever get your hopes up guys, this will never get a kit...

    3. From Gunpla prospective, a Bandai online exclusive 1/144 HG modification add-on? because 1/100 MG will be too expensive ( Zeong/Perfect Zeong are 6000/10000 Yens respectively, while HG version is 1800 Yen, & Psycho Gundam is 5000 Yen though )

    Replies
    1. Yeah, I was thinking about that earlier. It does look similar to the alpha azeiru for Char's Counter Attack. But there differences. For now this design has a something sticking out of it's head, it's red, and the propellant tanks are smaller and in a different place.

      Delete
    2. Everyone here are only speculating the possibility of a Nightingale or a Zeong, but nobody here even talk about the Alpha Zieru or Psycho Doga-which are the closest to the Char's counterattack TV timeline. The way I see it, this MA would capitalize on heavy fire power and wired incoms since Full Frontal doesn't even have the necessary NT capabilities to use funnels or bits.

      Delete
    3. Full Frontal does have NT capabilities, otherwise him piloting Sinanju (a MS with psyco frame)would be pointless. There are other places in the OVA where he shows that he has NT powers, like when Marida spoke in Banaugher's head and Full Frontal heard it as well. However, I support the idea of the new MA has wired remote weapons because the Sleeves knows NT-D can take over funnels. Wired remote weapons are safter as long as the Unicorn does not make contact with them directly.

      Delete
    4. You are right and you are wrong. Yes Full Frontal does have new type powers and could probably control funnels. But like Char, his NT powers are not very strong, as he mostly relies on raw skill.

Im not sure what you mean about Full Frontal hearing Marida and Banaghers new type convo in the OVA. I dont think there was any indacation of that

      Delete
  27. Looks like a gelgoog head. Perhaps is a "Frankenstein" machine using a lot of parts from other MS.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Or maybe something like the Big Rang from Ms Igloo it looks sort of similar http://gundam.wikia.com/wiki/MA-05Ad_Big_Rang

  29. I would have preferred FF use Nightingale since Hi Nu has already appeared in a series (poorly mind you). Still, this looks kinda hilarious. Zeong+Sinanju. This will be interesting atleast.

    1. Oh so you think Hi-Nu has already appeared in a series? tell me which one, ENLIGHTEN ME.

    2. Bearguy would have taken down RX-78 in UC like a bear owns his salmon XD

      Delete
  30. Hi-nu has not appeared in a real series. Hi-nu and nightingale cannot exist in a timeline where Nu and Sazabi were the ones used for Char and Amuro's final battle.

    1. shitfuck, Licht Nightingale is different from Nightingale, so it has a possibilty to come of existence in this series where it is developed from Sazabi and Sinanju.

      Delete
    2. Hey retard! Licht Nightingale is a fan design, its not official.

      Delete
  31. I would have preferred Full Frontal to stay in the Sinanju till the end and have a re-match with the Unicorn Gundam, Sinanju is already bloody awesome and im not satisfied with just the fight in episode 2
    Sad times for me :(

    ReplyDelete
  32. Wait, I thought that they announced that the MS on the sceond image is the Licht Nightingale, I'm a bit confused. Is the Licht nightingale being on Unicorn already official? I think the Mystery MS/ MA is different from the red mobile suit that is being built. PLEASE ENLIGHTEN ME.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Licht nightingale is not a real design. Its a custom kit that someone made.
Nightingale isn't even meant to exist in the storyline where Amuro used the Nu gundam to fight Sazabi.

      Delete
    2. Oh well, I was hoping for a Nightingale or its variation was coming into animation, but then I didn't know that it was only a fanmade design.
Since this thing has no legs, as Zinnerman said, this is most likely to be EITHER a mobile armor that Sinanju will be docking in, or something like ZEONG

      Delete
  33. The silhoutte is not Licht Nightingale. I think its different. Licht got nightingale + sinanju's thruster. And I don't see any legs and arms either

  34. Fan art looks like a Vagan suit from Age lol.

  35. I get chills when I think about seeing Full Frontal fight using a Mobile Armor that looks like a red Zeong.

Battles in Episode 7 are going to put other series to shame

    ReplyDelete
  36. those are definitely the Sinanju's propellant tanks at the rear.
looks like the Sinanju doesn't get abandoned but gets a Dendrobium like add-on.

    2. Zeong is very worst Char MS design ever, though.

      Delete
    3. I disagree. Though it doesn't look cool at all in the original animation

I really like the design and concept of the Zeong. It is very much what I imagine an anti-gundam to look like. Slightly redesigned to look more threatening, or even heavily redesigned, the Zeong can be pretty badass. And in red it would look more like something Char would pilot

Look up the GSB 1/100 Resin Zeong. It's pretty rare but there are a few videos and picture out there.

  42. weird.... I just feel like Sinanju docks on Mobile Armor, not because of fan sketch.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. My thoughts as well. Why waste a perfectly working MS and build a MA from scratch, while Sleeves has limited resources and time

      Delete
    2. Because Bandai is secretly funding the Neo Zeon war effort XD

      Delete
    3. I cannot say if it's based on SIanaju or docs with it, but I can clearly see that on the screen from episode 6 two white tanks are connected to what is unmistakably a Sinanju backpack - if you ever built it, you'll know it. Just slapping that backpack, however powerful on a much bigger mobile armor is impractical, so my guess is that Sinanju is connected with this MA in a manner similar to Dendrobium.

This is Bandai's response to any sort of official Nightingale kit in the future. Take away Nightingale's legs = what we have here = less plastic to produce for a Master Grade/High Grade kit. That is the only fathomable reason why Bandai would insert a new mobile armor for Gundam UC's finale and why we haven't had any sort of redesign or official release of Nightingale since Master Grade Hi-Nu's debut years ago (SD Gundam Songokuden Tenshiho Shibai Sazabi only kit that features a Nightingale representation).

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. This isn't bandai's response as its not a real bandai design. Its fan art.

    ReplyDelete
  58. i think its like an attach mobile armor for sinanju...like a meteor unit i guess..

    ReplyDelete
  59. this is similar to a mobile armor gp-03 used, the dendrobium

    ReplyDelete
  60. If I had to guess I would say that the sinanju is integrated into it as an emergency unit (not unlike the meteor units in SEED or the GP-03 Dendrobium in Stardust, but instead of a unit that can combine and separate it is actually built around it). It looks like it has the head, the arms, and the tanks of the Sinanju. It also looks like the larger arms are like the wings of the Kshatriya equipped with the hands and shield weapon of the Rozen Zulu, so they might actually work in a similar fashion (on wires just like the Rozen Zulu or sa zabi, or even detach completely and act like funnels or bits). I wouldn't be surprised if it has a set of funnels or bits like the Kshatriya. As for My last bit of speculation they did have the unicorn for a period of time and were even able to plant a device inside of it in order to secretly get the location that the La+ program designates, so I wouldn't be surprised if the new armor that they are adding onto the Sinanju has a Psycho-frame like the Unicorn or Banshee.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Don't you mean Zeong and not sa zabi? As for the Psycho-Frame doesn't Anaheim Electronics have all the Psycommu Systems and Psycho-Frame Material (both built and equipment) in lockdown or at least in there possession so where did the get it? Maybe from the Nu Gundam and the Sazabi from the movie Char's Counterattack? I don't rally remember weather or not if the remains of those two suits were recovered or not. They did get an old one for the Kshatriya, and they do have several spies and sympithizers everywhere so why not in Anaheim as well?

      Delete
    2. The data from the Sinanju was used to make the Unicorn after all so it wouldn't be at all impossible if the Sinanju could be compatible with the Psycho-Frame just like the Unicorn. And do you mean that the MA is built around the Sinanju and if it takes a lot of damage it will brake out of it like a shell (but with the Sinanju having less equipment and armor, just the light armor version) in order to surprise an opponent and get the upper hand in a fight? Say like the Unicorn defeats Full Frontal and goes to get laplace's box or even to meet up with Audrey Burne/Mineva Zabi and pops up out of nowhere and the fight continues? Is that what you think Might happen?

      Delete
    3. The Sinanju, full frontals mobile suit, was seen in ep. 6 but only in the beginning so that might explain why it wasn't seen later when he went to talk to banagher at the end. It was being used as the core of the mobile armor that we will see in ep. 7.

      Delete
  61. Well, I guess this is the Beta Azieru or maybe a modified one. Beta Azieru is one of the mobile armors developed by Char's Neo Zeon.

  62. 63. I suppose you won't need legs in space battles

    ReplyDelete
  64. You one what would be insane? Suddenly, out of nowhere, Hi Nu blocks a killing blow to the Unicorn, and as he gets thr upper hand, funnels begin to fire at it and then the Nightingale fires off a shot and they fight it out. The winner? No one because in a war, there aren't any winners. Just survivors.
