As 2013 comes to an end, it is time to look back at all of the Gunpla that was released, from MG, HG, to RG. What was your favorite Gunpla in 2013? Leave a comment below.
Because this year i only buy 1 and i enjoy build it, it was MG Wing Proto Zero. There are so many awesome kits this year and i realy want them like MG RX-78 ver 3.0, Talgeese, Sazabi ver. KA and many more. Hopefully this year i can get this kits
Since I have not built my MG Sazabi, I would have to put it between the MG Jesta or the MG Geara Doga. Loved the build of both those kits. I think the MG Geara Doga takes it since it was so big and bulky. Then again, it looks tiny next to the Sazabi Ver Ka.
There were so many good MGs and RGs released this year.
MG Wing Proto Zero MG Age-2 Double Bullet MG Aile Strike RM Ver. MG Strike Rouge Ootori RG Strike Freedom RG Destiny
...were some of my favorite 2013 kits.
But by far (and no surprise to anyone), my favorite and the one that made me the most happiest is the MG Exia Repair 2. Not only does it mean that 00 has relevance again (at least a bit),
Here's to hoping that some of these guys get MGs.
Gundam AGE AGE-1AJ Gundam AGE-1 Assault Jacket AGE-1FG Gundam AGE-1FG Full Gransa AGE-3 Gundam AGE-3 Normal AGE-3 Gundam AGE-3 Fortress AGE-3 Gundam AGE-3 Orbital AGE-FX Gundam AGE-FX AGE-FX Gundam AGE-FX (Burst)
And here's the return of the stupid wishlist. Gundam x maoh and wing fenice will get Mg releases since they are consider lead characters and Ms design. The same apply for the strike freedom and justice. At least we know why bandai started to remaster the seed kits. It was because the didn't want to use tbe old crappy frame for the build strike. Best move they made since it caused seed fans to re buy the kits. As for the wing kits there has been talks fo those Kits starting to be released late 2014-2015 for wings 20th anniversary but a the would be a online exclusive and no one has mentioned an RM wing zero or wing zero. There is talk about a Mg Leo.
So, your favorite kits were kits you don't even have yet? Let alone that you never built the ones you do... How can something that you never built and therefore experienced yourself be your favorite? Do you judge it by the box art (since you only collect boxes)? (Go ahead and say "how do you know I havent build, you assume too much" Till you prove otherwise, that's EXACTLY what I and everyone else assumes. You have a blog, post pictures of your builds there, it's that easy) Also, the post asks for what were your favorite models, not for you to yet again spam your endless wishlist BS
* Minor correction. I'm happy that MG Exia R2 was finally announced this year even though it's coming out in 2014.
So in that regard, my favorite released kit is the MG Aile Strike RM Ver. from 2013. It gave us the MG Strike Rouge Ootori, and it also began the RM Ver. releases. Maybe we'll see others from Seed, Seed Destiny, and other series getting updated releases and not just recolors (i.e. Wing EW, Wing Ver. Ka,).
*Minor correction #2 Favorite released kits I never actually built and therefore have no clue as to what I'm talking about (and here's more evidence that suiton doesnt care about the models themselves, he just cares about getting whatever comes next on his stupid wishlist) *Minor correction #3 Strike didn't begin the RM series (which so far only exists in your moronic little head), it ENDED the GAT-X series, which all share the same frame (yes, the rouge was actually the last GAT-X suit, but that was a given)
OR maybe we'll get to see cool new suits that never actually have been released before, like the turn X, instead of wasting time on new versions of kits that don't need them
Hey Suiton! There are a couple comments regarding you vast knowledge on mg releases. http://gundamguy.blogspot.com/2013/12/bandai-hobby-january-2014-release.html#comment-form
@ Concerned User I would like to see an MG of Le Cygne from Ecole Du Ciel manga. As for suiton: Try to insult our opinion about wanting to see a Gunpla of an MS that are not yet released. Bring it on!
Despite his nonstop talk of master grades, judging from his extensive collection of SD's, he's just a child. Yelling at people online, posting his wish list everywhere, there's just no end to this guy. All he ever does is just list names of Gundams anyways, with no reason to his "predictions."
Just don't feed the (very annoying) troll and let the kid waste his time the way he wants.
I like Sazabi (both metallic and Ver Ka), Unicorn Gundam FA Ver Ka, Sinanju (normal and titanium), Kshatriya and Sinanju Stein (I have 3 total, 2 different customized and 1 spare build).
Year 2013 has been quite an explosive to me as I only recently started out this hobby proper in around September 2013. But these gotta be my most favourite kits that I enjoyed building =)
For me, it's the Wing Proto Zero(which i own, Wing fanboy here =P), Sinanju Stein, Sazabi ver. Ka & MG AGE-2 DB. Here's to another good year & a wish for a MG Reborns Gundam...
My favorites for this year were MG Uma Lightning's Zaku II because of the cool color scheme and MG Tallgeese II. Not much of a Wing guy anymore but it was the show that introduced me to Gundam and I was always thought Tallgeese II looked epic.
Too bad it's kinda rare from where i live & most of us(me included) have to bust our asses to find it. I wonder if they are gonna give it the EW Glory of Losers treatment later aka release it again with Katoki-san adjustments...Oh yeah, i should add RG Destiny to that list above too...^^
Anubis from Zone of the Enders and Metal Gear Rex.
ReplyDeleteRG Strike Freedom + Wing of The Skies, is the best !
ReplyDeleteAnubis from Zone of the Enders and Metal Gear Rex
ReplyDeleteNu ver KA. Because the detail is crazy like hell!!!
ReplyDeleteWell... this Image has the RD Epyon, as well..
ReplyDeleteThough I built many great kits in 2013, MG Sazabi ver Ka came and stole the cake from everyone. It's easily one of the best things I've ever built^^
ReplyDeleteHG 1/144 RX-121-2A Gundam TR-1 (Advanced Hazel)
ReplyDeleteRg strike freedom
ReplyDeleteHgaw Wing
MG Sazabi Ver ka.
I'd say mine was either the Sazabi ver Ka(of course) or the MG Jesta. Both were great kits, and I love them for different reasons.
ReplyDeleteBecause this year i only buy 1 and i enjoy build it, it was MG Wing Proto Zero. There are so many awesome kits this year and i realy want them like MG RX-78 ver 3.0, Talgeese, Sazabi ver. KA and many more. Hopefully this year i can get this kits

ReplyDeleteMy favorite was the HG Gundam Double X. I've been waiting for it, and I think it delivered.
ReplyDeleteHG EZ-8 for me. Showing some 8th MS Team love.

Deletewhoa man, why are you posting your wishlist here?? It's not like bandai will read it here and gonna make it happen, man. They not a frickin Santa!
DeleteI think the question was pretty simple and straight so why'd you post your wishlist?

i was a huge fan of the MG Duel

@anon 616 OMG, Le Cygne would be awesome! And an anime series to go with it, please ^^
DeleteSazabi Ver. Ka, MG Proto, Stein, Aile Strike were the ones for me.. Zero tops the list because that just about came out of nowhere.
ReplyDeleteHGUC GM Sniper II WD and Byarlant Custom
ReplyDeleteI like Sazabi (both metallic and Ver Ka), Unicorn Gundam FA Ver Ka, Sinanju (normal and titanium), Kshatriya and Sinanju Stein (I have 3 total, 2 different customized and 1 spare build).

Sazabi Ver Ka, which is the December 2013 release. A very good sequel to the December 2012 release of Nu Gundam Ver Ka.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it's the Wing Proto Zero(which i own, Wing fanboy here =P), Sinanju Stein, Sazabi ver. Ka & MG AGE-2 DB. Here's to another good year & a wish for a MG Reborns Gundam...

DeleteHmmm, the only 2013 kits I bought were MG Sinanju Stein, RG Zeph, RG Strike Freedom and MG AGE-2 DB.
ReplyDeleteSo I think my most favorite is the AGE-2 DB. I know MG Stein is a better choice but I like transforming kits more.
RG Destiny and Wing Proto Zero
ReplyDeleteHG Gundam Age-1 Normal
ReplyDeleteHG Rozen Zulu and HGAC Wing Gundam
my favorite gunpla are Gafran (needs a MG of it)
