  1. So... There will be a re-release for Red Astray with a new sword, like the one in the picture?

    1. The sword is apart of an add on kit you can buy for 20 some bucks. I think it comes with the sword and a katana stand. Kinda cool, but not for the money.

  2. Ooo! More SEED kit is not a bad thing.

    2. I always preferred Astray and MSV story lines compared to the actual SEED and SEED Destiny stories

  5. Those swords might be a magazine kit.

  6. They should just make an anime of this already.

  7. Loving that Astray Noir. Chances of a MG are pretty good. Looking at the legs, theyre using the mg style legs, so they can just reuse the red frame and add in the noir parts. Yay for my wallet! <-sarcasm

    1. Well I know and appreciate the site you mention. Unfortunately it stopped for some time, we fear for Webmasters problems ... there is an initiative to replace it, but it needs a lot of support

Its closure, believe me, it's a shame .... and I worry so much. I hope his webmaster's okay.

  10. That Astray Noir is one of the laziest rehashes I've ever seen and we're talking about a universe that had to recycle 20+ year old designs to make ends meet because they weren't original enough to make new ones. It's literally a black Astray with a new fin and the Noir's striker pack. So goddam lazy. And that grey they're using for the frame clashes so badly with the pack's grey. They could have at least used a similar shade. The frame looks like a purplish blended grey.

    1. just like strike

    2. Ironically, the mismatched grays is pretty realistic for a cobbled-together unit. They literally took a Noir pack and slapped it onto a custom-painted Astray and called it a day. So meta.

    4. They had the time to put in crimson pieces on the Noir's pack instead of the original yellow. That tells me they at least had time to slap some real paint on the rest too. The frame's grey is so bad it clashes with the black too. So sloppily done. What a piece of crap.

  12. Hmmm...this SEED post is disturbingly peaceful. Could this be a new age?

  13. Red, light grey, dark grey, black (plus some green)...

    Dark Hound?

  14. not going to lie, i'm a little dissapointed, the design is fine but black and red is overused imo. the token "bad ass" colors if you will but i feel it takes away from the mecha more than it gives.

  15. Not original, but is acceptable. May use a little bit of silver.

  16. To each his own. I kind of get the feeling that the astray with the noir pack who ever is going to be the pilot, I feel as though if the pilot of the strike noir is going to be the pilot for this machine he may have been trying to get this suit as close as he could to the previous.

Anyone else have the same idea or something similar?

  17. Gundam Seed Astray anime here we come!!!

  18. Attaching the Strike Noir pack to an Astray only shows that Bandai is indeed bankrupt of ideas, even a Gold Frame Amatu is more original than this Astray Noir.

Bandai shouldn't follow in Hasbro's habits at rehashing of old toys for short term gains, but should instead focus on working on something else new. Otherwise they might join LucasArt getting owned by Disney.

    1. There are more people raging at anything new than people who rage at rehashed old stuff.

  19. in terma of looks, the noir pack doesn't seem to fit well on the astray, it doesn't look right...
