Looks like they're going with a very Evangelion-ish redesign. And personally, I'm okay with that. It looks very nice, though I'm sure a lot of fans will denounce it for not looking like a gundam(which is partially true). Still, I'm quite impressed, and if they use this design, this new version of the RX-78-02 will probably become my favorite gundam design. Also, the fact we're getting this now does seem to say the project is running along smoothly, which is good news. Maybe they'll announce what format it will be in soon.
