Video game developer Namco Bandai Games registered the
trademark "GGeneration Frontier" in Japan on October 31. The
trademark would cover "pre-recorded electronic storage media featuring
programs for video game machines" and internet streaming video.
SD Gundam G Generation is a series of strategy
role-playing games featuring mechas from the Gundam franchise in a
super-deformed style. The most recent entry in the franchise, SD Gundam G
Generation Overworld, was released in Japan for the PlayStation Portable on
September 27.
