TOKYO MX (Starting July 7th, every Monday @ 25:00)

BS11 (Starting July 6th, every Sunday @ 19:28)

The August issue of Gundam ACE magazine announced the popular manga series Mobile Suit Gundam-san (by Hideki Ohwada) will be adapted into an anime feature. The concept of this comedy manga series uses a four panel comic format, so it would be interesting to see how they translate the contents into an animated feature. The Mobile Suit Gundam-san manga started back in 2001, had recently released the 12th volumn this past March.

The domain name 'gundam-san.net' had been registered under the company Sunrise back in February.

Sunrise News - New Gundam Site Registered & Possible New Distribution Partners

Sunrise News - New Gundam Site Registered & Possible New Distribution Partners
Anime News Network has recently posted two quick stories about Sunrise, the company behind the various Gundam anime, as well as Tiger & Bunny and Valvrave.

First, Sunrise has registered a new website, gundam-bf.net. No other information has been revealed about this. Assuming it is a new Gundam project, is it a new anime, manga, game, OVA, or something else completely? Hopefully, more will come out about this soon.

Second, Sunrise is in talks with the distributors Sentai Filmworks and Funimation to distribute Bandai Entertainment titles. Sunrise is currently releasing Mobile Suit Gundam UC through Right Stuff and would like to use other distributors in a similar fashion. Will a deal like this lead to cheaper Gundam releases here in the US? Perhaps even previously unreleased content here as well?

Episode Synopsis [Spoilers Below]:

Banagher is attacked by the black mobile suit Banshee, and taken into custody. Backed into a corner, he still continues to conceal the new coordinates leading to Laplace's Box which were revealed by the Unicorn Gundam. Bright, the commander of the Londo Bell, sees in Banagher the dignity and possibility shown by generations of Gundam pilots, and he finds help from old firends he once fought beside.

Meanwhile, Mineva has been handed over from Ronan to Martha, and she is transferred to the giant transport plane Garuda as a pawn to make Banagher talk. The conflict surrounding the Box soars to a high altitude and, finally, back into space...
