The game is an enhanced version of the Gundam Conquest strategy simulation and action game for smartphones. The original smarpthone app has been a hit title with 3.5 million downloads. Bandai Namco Entertainment will release the game this summer on the PS Vita. The game will be free-to-play, but players can purchase in-game items. Bandai Namco Entertainment announced in June that it will release a separate free-to-play real-time simulation game called Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Fortress for PS Vita this summer.
