    1. Why?!! Why do you say what everybdy already know?!! that's hurt so much too think that assault or buster or both will be Pbandai.

    2. The Assault and Buster sets actually have the chance to be a stand alone release like the V Dash pack, but the first victim of P-Bandai would be the Wings of Light, which I actually want more than the Assault and Buster packs.

    3. Op here. Do you really believe it stands a chance? Look at the Gundam 3.0 add on set. The 3.0 could have included a led, beam javilen, and waterslide decals but it didn't. Or look at the mega launcher. It's box is bigger then most mg boxes. Or the pg unicorn fullarmor set and the tallgeese 2 and 3 all there were p bandai kits. It a safe bet that the v2 assault and buster would be p bandai as well.

  2. Finally! Looking forward to seeing pictures of a physical copy.

  3. Amazing! This is phenomenal news. The V and V2 series of suits are such thoughtful designs.

  4. hope that when it's put together it will not be as crappy as V Gundam... but nevertheless really looking forward to this for a long time ago :)

    1. i don't see the problem everyone has with the mg victory... i mean sure it lacks mobility, but i managed to get it in to several pretty dynamic poses with some work, and it looks pretty good just standing. the unicorn is only slightly less finicky and people don't seem to call it out

  5. I hope it has new tooling, and isn't as awful as the normal, floppy Victory Gundam is.

  6. After we saw it in a kitbash at Wonderfest 2014 we just had to play the waiting game. Still surprising it took them so long.

  7. I'm still waiting for the Assault and Buster (P Bandai) announcement.

    1. Aren't we just missing the Age-FX and the Burning Try? I suppose a case could be made for the X-Divider. That is actually pretty good.

I am not a huge fan of the V2 (V Hexa all the way!), but I am glad people who do like the V2 are finally getting an MG.

    2. @Troy Buttke
Some kits that we are "missing" in MG (i.e. kits we never got an MG at all) are things like:

      - V2 Assault
      - V2 Buster
      - V2 Assault-Buster
      - Blast Impulse
      - Justice
      - Saviour
      - Gaia
      - Abyss
      - Chaos
      - Akatsuki
      - Age 3 Normal
      - Age 3 Orbital
      - Age 3 Fortress
      - Age FX
      - Age FX Burst
      - Age 1 Full Glansa
      - X Divider
      ...etc

  10. inb4 Suiton walks in and tell us all he's gonna buy like 20 of this kit

    1. Suiton hates UC so he will pass onto this kit.

    2. @Unknown
I dislike the UC based designs.
So this will be something I will skip.
"gonna buy like 20 of this kit"
Is that what I would do for something I like?
      I don't think so.
I don't have the money to buy 20x of the same MG.
I do not own a business nor do I make money to just splurge like that.
Please be reasonable with your comments.

More like you despise anything UC.

There is one valid reason, Bandai still continues to release mainly UC kits alongside the AU ones instead of anything in your ridiculously long stupid wishlist.

And you completely missed Unknown's point. He points out that you will buy numerous amount of a same kit (whether its just 3-4 or even up to 20, whatever), if said kit came from a series you like, like 00 for example.

  12. My Prayers have been answers! Hallelujah! There is a God and he's a Victory Gundam fan! Yes!

I don't want to think about P-Bandai at the moment...let just bask in the moment of this amazing announcement...aahhhh....ahhh...mmmm...yes....ok I'm good.

Alright it's pretty much a given that both Assault and Buster packs will be P-Bandai...most likely together as one set or a bundle. But beyond that...please...PLEASE....PLEASE...If you're going to charge us up the ass for those packs for those of us who really want it...can you at least...AT LEAST have the common courtesy to give us the Wings of Life in box and not as a online exclusive...PLEASE!

You do that for me and I'll happily by 4 kits for the stock version, Assault Version, Buster Version, and Assault Buster! PLEASE just let me have the Wings of light! Oh who am I kidding you're already rubbing your hands together thinking about all the add ons and stuff you're going to throw on P-Bandai...damn it...I just ruined my own enthusiasm...my happy is now a sad :(

  13. I can see it now for P-Bandai Assault and Buster Parts.. >:3

  14. i absolutely love the V2 but this kit scares me considering what happened to MG V gundam, and how the plastic quality of some ver.ka kits have been questionable lately.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Hope there is gonna be a non-Ver.Ka later :(

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I doubt it.
If they were to, then we would get a new mold.
The Ver. Ka looks fine to me, but I'm not a UC fan so I wouldn't know for sure.
Besides, Bandai probably has other series they'd rather do MGs and remasters for like Seed/Destiny?

      Delete
    2. Why don't you just admit that you hate UC? Maybe you're just afraid of the possible backlash if you speak ill of that timeline, hehe

      Delete
  16. YES! Have been waiting for a MG V2 for too long! But I just hope the construction has advanced to modern technology, the victory gundam was pretty flimsy. Not sure if all kits with core fighters are like that. The RG GP01 was also really loose.

  17. So this is the ver. Ka for 2015 i guess..
im happy for you guys. But not my cup of tea.

Rather have seen a Zeta, the-O or something else big.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Zeta 2.0 was good kit, i think no need for revision for mg zeta. As for the o, no matter what version it is, it'll be brick kit or standing mountain. Design and structure of the o are not meant for dynamic pose from beginning.

      Delete
    2. I'll give you that the MG Zeta 2.0 is probably showing its age, but I doubt Bandai would do a The O Ver. Ka so soon after the standard MG.

      Delete
    3. Zeta 2.0 has 6 years old...what age are you talking about?

      Delete
    4. Lol the-O was a one time wonder. Sales weren't great for it and Bandai be like "never again".

  18. wings of light are online exclusive.... yep saw that a mile away

    ReplyDelete
  19. And they are still going to use that god-awful MG V-gundam kit as the basis for this. Why bother?

    ReplyDelete
  20. So... It doesn't look very detailed or is it just me?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. It's just you..The MS design just looks simple because its mostly white but with simple detailing like panel lining it with gray then details will pop up. ,

  21. I don't know what it is, but I just don't like the V2 Gundam over the V Gundam. Rather than preordering the V2, I am just going to get the V-Dash Gundam instead. Honestly, I prefer the starter suit of almost every series over the mid-season upgrade.

  22. Hey every one can u explain to me what is diferentsis between 2 v2 gundam heads on image [Updated 10/5/15], u can see 2 v2 gundam heads, i was confusing what is diferent, it looks same, but the right image *the head* , the left eye was in black shadow, but i dont know, and that word is on japanese i cant read it, so please tell me what is diferent between that 2 thing

    1. The Japanese says "Seimitsu shageki yoh debaisu", which means "Precision Shooting [use] Device". It's an option part included (the other Japanese is too small/blurry for me to make it all out).

      Delete
    2. That's a monocular for precise shooting.

      Delete
    3. its a aiming glass for v2 to shoot more precisely, it looks like the scouter used by vegeta in dragon ball z. it only covers 1 eye

    4. Ok every one. Tx for reply my question ☺

  23. So Hajime Katoki did the original designs for the Gundam suits in V Gundam, I thought " Ver ka" Just meant a redesign by Katoki such as they did with the Nu Gundam for example to give it those Unicorn style opening armor plates (which i hate on it b.t.w , blasphemy) So himg doing a "Ver ka" of his own suit just seems like retroactively changing things you originally did ala Lucas style ? Sorta seems weird to put "ver ka" on a design he did himself imo.

I kind of also hate that how most MG kit revisions to make use of better quality plastics/kit gimmicks etc. etc. mostly come from the suit being re-released as a " ver ka" :(

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. "Ver.ka" means he designed the model kit as well. It's not just a lineart thing, or a sliding panel thing (which, seriously...blasphemy? you don't even have to use the feature!). He hasn't changed anything about the V2 Gundam retroactively, either.

If the kit is a revised version, a la the Nu and Sazabi, sure, they'll get brand new lineart by Katoki and up-to-date build design. That's no different than a 2.0. But if it's the first time it's existed in MG form, there're no "revisions" to be had.

  24. So what's the deal with the glass brick it appears to be leaning up against in the lastest pics? Can it stand up or not?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. That "glass brick" is for display purposes.
I'm sure this kit can stand fine on its own. I mean it is small enough and doesn't have a large backpack.

  25. And yet still no announcement on the Assault Buster packs. Hopefully we'll get an announcement fairly soon. Until then, I'm holding my wallet safe from this hit.

    ReplyDelete
  26. No news about the buster pack... oh God, with that extra pack it would feel bigger compared with other mg that are 18cm tall at least
