I hear ya. I realized my 30 year old classic Porsche (which I paid 5k for) cost me less than the entirety of my gundam collection (and I got most for less than the going price).
About 80 MGs, 6-8 HGUC kits including the dendrobium, 7 PGs, a couple UCHG, 3 SD, and 8 resin kits. About 2/3rds of the models are built and painted and most of the rest are wip. Also got a decent number of military and car models but nowhere near my gundam collection. Just got some awesome Ikea cases now too so soon my basement will look like a shrine, lol.
I currently have 100+ kits, it's a mix of HGs, MGs, SDs, an RG kit, and a couple of No Grades. And that doesn't even include other kits that I have (airplane models, cars, other Bandai kits).
But just imagine the backlog of that dude in the picture...:3
