It Is real. This, unlike The original hi nu Gundam, is designed for arena style combat. So emphaSiS on longevity , weight, the uc laws of physics, and fuel does not have to be taken into account. RemembeR a laRge paRt of this show is based on the fact that these players can find themselves in different environments, also combat in this particular show is not based on any military tactics. It Is sImply who can buIld the better Gundam to fight in this random environment. Amuro Ray designed the hi nu Gundam for battle in space against a drastically maniacal military regime , bent on the world destruction. Versatility being the nu Gundams main function and doing this primarily with the final system in conjunction with his beam rifle. ThaT's why This parTicular model would not have been practical for Amuro Ray's fight with char's forces. The lasT Thing I wanT To poinT ouT is The original Gundams design Carrie's 2 large propellanT Tanks so that the Gundam can go further and last in the field longer.
AgAin in bAttles thAt usuAlly only lAsts for 3 to 5 minutes like build fighters , the original design is impractical and for the large-scale battles of the Universal Century universe the build fighters design is impractical. Does that make sense to anyone else? Or am I cOmpletely Off base ?
