This is a legits bandai product painted in metallic, the art here is not that it is metallic, but the fact that this guy is capable of achieving mirror chrome plated metallic finish and that, is truely art and skill, matte finish is easily the simplest finish for plastic kits that looks good even though can be archieved by amateurs.
This finish is not achieved by painting. This guy simply had his runners chrome plated somewhere and then just snapped the kit together. You can see the nub marks everywhere. It's not called art, it's called having a buttload of money :) I still love the finished kit though.
looks like a cheap china made plastic toy. Still prefer matte finish for gunplas ;)

DeleteYeah. Anyone can spray matte finish. I wouldn't even know how to achieve the extra finish coat effect. {Spray can user exclusively}
