The question isn't why. It's more like why not. I knew that they would be doing a Trans Am one as either P-Bandai exclusive or a convention exclusive thing. This is the kinda BS that annoys me; even more so since I prefer Master Grades more so more than likely we're gonna see them do the exact same thing with the Master Grade version....and probably P-Bandai for either the Exia Amazing or Exia Dark Matter Master Grades. And let's not go into Real Grades since the same thing will happen.
I think that Bandai is losing confidence with the Gundam franchise; or at least with Gundam model kits? I mean why else would they just be pumping out all of these Premium exclusives and convention exclusive kits? You know and Bandai knows that there are fans who will buy it. So why can't they just make it regular kits? I mean these are reusing existing molds and slightly modifying some parts, and this guy is just a recolour in the Trans Am scheme.
1994 Yen... Right. Maybe if you import or are able to go to the convention and buy it there. But watch like every Japanese seller on like Amazon, eBay, and those Japanese based stores...as well as GG Infinite and other US based shops. They're gonna be charging at least like double or triple that.
