ReplyDeletenow i need a hg 1/144 nightingale
ReplyDeletewhile this is all hype and all, i'd rather they improve the current mg standards than make a new 1/100 line. i mean come on, after nu and sazabi, and the hype of the mg 3.0 line introduced in rx 78 3.0 (which none of the following mg actually continued), i have a feeling that this new line is supposed to what mg 3.0 should be
ReplyDeleteI think this 1/100 line is supposed to be focused more on bigger MS with HG quality, a more affordable and less complicated than releasing an MG kit of bigger MS which is more complicated.
Delete@ manong ronald
DeleteI do hope you're right, judging by the size of this kits, i'm hoping that the price range would not go above the Master Grade's. so that my wallet would cry less.
Where is MG Victory 2.....X already out but V2 still stuck at 1/144
Deletethey mentioned it to be more complex like the rgs in 1/100 scale. Theyre not reusing the old 1/100
Delete^Sorry dude but my predictions turns out to be right afterall with the latest pictures of 1/100 Nightingale.
Deletei feel sorry for my wallet...
ReplyDeletethis is AMAZINGGGG
ReplyDeleteThe GP04 is finally getting a proper model !HELL YAH!
ReplyDeleteI thought I was the only one being happy that Gerbera will get a legit 1/100 gunpla.
DeleteAssuming they're quality stuff, I'll pick GP04 over Nightingale.
OMG There r more projects coming!?!? YAAAAAAYY
ReplyDeleteYAY
ReplyDeleteHahaha, when people said the first will absolutely be the RX 78-2, it's the effing Nightingale, b***h!
ReplyDeleteI am sooo happy that they did not do RX-78 as the first one!!! OMG I cannot express the sheer joy that they did not do RX-78 for the first kit...and went with Nightingale...Just Wow...NOW WHERE IS MY KSHATRIYA...
DeleteI am glad to be proven wrong. That being said I am really not certain what the point of this new line is. Is it 1/100 HG for larger, more obscure, designs?
DeleteNo its actually more detailed (more $$$)
DeleteJESUS CHRIST I MUST OFFER A GOAT TO THE LORD BANDAI.
ReplyDeleteA new name for future 1/100 No Grades? I can't see them undermine the Master Grade line, so perhaps the less popular or more complex kits will go in this Reborn 100 line
ReplyDeleteThis is just 1/100 nongrade right? Like, the really shitty 1/100 with no inner frame?
ReplyDeleteI guess this ruins our chances of ever having a MG Nightingale. Not sure why anyone is happy about that unless they really hate the Nightingale.
This line is likely for kits that would NEVER get or have very little change of getting a MG.
DeleteThis seems like what the 1/60 Glorious Series was to the 1/60 Perfect Grade Line. I wonder if it will have more success.
DeleteIts going to be MORE detailed. I mean why would they announce a new grade if they wanted to make more 1/100 non grades
Deleteanother HG? nope thanks.
ReplyDeletejoints on HG wear off quickly.
MG Nightingale please.
This is a new line so don't judge too quickly yet. They are clearly aiming for something better than the usual 1/100 (HG).
DeleteAaaand...BOOM, BOOM, BOOM! Down go three of my longest standing wish-list model kits in one fell swoop! This does make up for the trickle of MGs lately (especially ones that aren't that 75% recycled Build Fighter junk), and as much as that Nightingale is going to hurt the ol' bank account, I am stupifyingly pleased. If these first three releases indicate a line of kits intent on remedying the glaring omissions in the MG line (i.e. MS that have NEVER seen a mainstream model kit release), then my pessimism has been squarely kicked in the nuts.
ReplyDeleteYeah despite the great show, I have to agree that the recycling is a waste of mg releases
DeleteSo far its novel designs and MSVs.
ReplyDeleteMG MSV series?
that is one bizarre lineup...
ReplyDeleteLooks like this line will consists of suits that appear in novels/non-anime.
ReplyDeletedidn't see dat comming
ReplyDeleteabout f'in time.
ReplyDeleteNightingale! YES!!!
ReplyDelete*watchs the site explode*
ReplyDeleteGP04!!
ReplyDeleteJust need to clarify - Are these gonna be master grades? or are like they gonna make a premium /high end/exclusive grade for these kits. Seems like bandai aint givin these kit releases master grade designation just 1/100.
ReplyDeleteWell anyway might be wrong but still lookin forward for the GP04 master garde or otherwise, its been a long time coming, far too long.
I am thinking Bandai attempted to create a MG Nightingale kit as the big December release and realized how un-economical it would be. They then decided to upgrade the 1/100 HG line to include MG level details and pose-ability with HG construction. They will probably price this line somewhere between HG and MG. So my guess is no inner frame, lots of panel lines, maybe 95% color separation, minimal mechanical detail.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I feel like the sazabi's ridiculous price was just a test bed to see if people are willing to shell out that wod of cash for big kits....
ReplyDelete...
Shut up and take my money!!!
You got a point there bro hahaha
DeleteI am really exited for this new line. Since they seem to be doing designs that didn't appear in animation, I REALLY hope for a Zeta II and a Xi (if it doesn't get a standard MG release).
ReplyDeleteI don't think ANYONE saw this coming!

A 1/100 line dedicated to obscure MS? This could be pretty interesting, Xamel plz.
ReplyDeleteSo the re-release of HG 1/100?!! Seems fine by me. As long as the joints and the look is close to MG I don't mind not having a inner frame. Lets see if the 4th release is RX-78-6 Mudrock since they're starting with MSV mechs.
ReplyDeletenow this is interesting, for all the nay sayers, understand this: a few years ago bandai tried to create an mg Nightengale and mg Kshatriya, they ran into a number of engineering issues. Unless we wanted to go back to the MG stone age and require screws and metal joints its not economical nor feasable to be stable in construction. so my guess is this is their great compromise they know there is a large demand from the MG crowd to have the more exotic kits but unless we want to pay absurd prices for fragile unstable kits, this may be the best way. lets see more about these kits and their construction before we criticize this is exciting stuff. hopefully bandai does not dissapoint.
ReplyDeleteincoming AOZ kit guys
ReplyDeleteJust as a heads up, the poster to the right of the 'gale is for the announcement of an MG Hi-Nu Ver Ka.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is definitely a Hi-Nu something. But how do you know it's a Ver. Ka.? Sure, that's a pretty reasonable thing to guess, but do you have proof it's not just one of these new shitty 1/100 HG?
DeleteGuys, not sure if i'm seeing this wrong, but from the tiny portion of the poster on the right side, some how I think that is a Hi-Nu Gundam that is incoming
ReplyDeleteLooks more like Strike Freedom's wings...
ReplyDeleteIts happening, its finally happening!
ReplyDeleteYES!
This sounds like a revival of the no grade 1/100 series.
ReplyDeleteToday is a glorious day. How many years have I waited for this. Practically every time I check on Gundam Guy it was for this very moment, the arrival of the one and only mighty Nightingale. Praise the day! Also Hi-Nu Ver. Ka coming too? This. Is. Glorious.
ReplyDeleteNice, now bring me a TR-6 Woundwort!
ReplyDeletegimme some 1/100 GM's or GTFO
ReplyDeletejust modify the Gundam 3.0 frame into a generic GM frame and we'll do the rest
come on Bandai, hguc gm sniper ii sold like hotcakes, where's the mg?
and also zeon grunts need some more love
Has nobody considered the possibility that these might be styrene conversions for existing MGs? Like B-Club kits but immediately more accessible. Mk III converts from Delta Plus, etc.? Imagine what that could mean for obscure variants of existing MGs.
ReplyDeleteGod i need that Gundam Gerbera and that Nightingale looks gorgeous. I may get hate for saying this but the amount of of the Nu family of of gundams is starting to irk me I would love to see more lesser known gundams or you know maybe some more Formula series Gundams
ReplyDeleteSo far the Zeta II is coming to the HG line. Hopefully it becomes an MG or this new RE 1/100
ReplyDeleteAnyone thinking of RE 1/100 AMA-X7 Shamblo?
