    1. Absolutely. Much better than it does here.
      Not that I don't think this is gorgeous.
      And I hate the Strike Freedom with a passion, so that's saying something.
      I can only imagine what kind of paint or chemical they used to create that effect.

    3. It's iridescent paint, the clear one, which the modeler sprayed right on the runners before he built it, thus the nub marks and seam lines.
      Successfully wasting a PG and beautiful paint.

  4. It is not painted, it is prizm coated. just like metal composite unicorn prizm.

  7. I'm gonna take a guess that this is either pearl over clear colors over chrome, or pearl flakes mixed with clear colors over chrome. I'm no expert. Correct me if I'm wrong, though..
