Because of a gimped scoring system. A judge gave 2nd winner a very low mark thus gimping his final take. This is a well-kept scoring flaw and this year 2014 should be handled differently so that NO gundam amateur should be a judge again EVER. For those who doesn't believe... Too bad because it's the truth, should that mistake didn't happen 2nd winner is the ACTUAL winner.
