  2. Please tell me this is just someone's custom. It's just the normal Unicorn Mode Gundam Unicorn panel lined in UV pink. If this is real then they're -really- pulling at straws to try to make money.

  3. This is clearly a custom, GG is a fucking retard shitposter

    1. Why are you even commenting here? All you're doing is bad-mouthing a group of people who are engaging the Gundam community world wide. It's comments like this that make online spaces hostile, lessen the enjoyment for other fans, and discourage more fans from joining in.

    2. " group of people who are engaging the Gundam community world wide"
      hahaha good one.
Remove all the ads, the shitty bumps with shitty artworks and ad some value to news that are just copy pasta from blog like http://gtoys.blog48.fc2.com/ and we may speak. I'm not even speaking of the user baser and GxG galery.

    3. 1) GG's source websites aren't always English-language friendly. They may use Google translate, but they still pool together multiple sources in one place which is convenient for us who don't have as much free time to go around all those other sites. This site isn't perfect but it's convenient.
      2) GG's a business. Bandai is a business. Pretty much every other news site has business interests. The 'community engagement' may all be a marketing ploy but it is still engagement. Again, not all of us have the time to go around different websites.
      3) What more value that they can add are you talking about? Can you be specific?
      4) You used the word 'artworks'. That means what may be shitty for you, may not be shitty for others. I'd prefer it if GG was more consistent and specific with crediting the sources though. If I like an image enough, I make an effort to find the original source to give the maker the page views.
      5) Yes, I don't like many of the users here for the same reasons Ngee Khiong closed his blog. But again, it's better than nothing.
      6) since you seem to be such an expert critic, why don't you make your own gundam info site.

    4. As much as I hate to agree with someone as abrasive as the anon here, I have to admit that I've been getting increasingly more frustrated with GundamGuy's posts as of late. The level of accuracy and care taken has dropped to an all-time low, and the number of bumps with insignificant additions has increased to annoying levels. While with the loss of Ngee Khiong this is the only English blog I know of to make an attempt at filling that void, it doesn't help anyone if it fails to get its own information right.

For instance, look at the EXVSFB posts. On top of the information provided being completely wrong, he screws up and puts in images from other posts (HGAC Wing Gundam, Gundam Wing BD Boxsets, etc). This shows an utter lack of care. I believe the English-speaking Gundam community deserves a little better than that.

    5. In addition, if he would pay attention to his own comments sections, there have been countless people who have gone out of their way to correct his mistakes, but he constantly ignores them and repeatedly bumps the same posts with the same wholly inaccurate info. So even when given the tools to improve, he chooses to discard them. That's not the best way to do things.

    6. ^I agree with you, but I'd be a bit careful with using the word "deserves". This is the website of a webstore, not a community. This store also isn't owned by Bandai. People who comment here don't necessarily 'deserve' any better service unless there is some sort of binding agreement. Also, aren't there enough comments here (from people who seem to have very little vocabulary outside profanities) that imply that they think they 'deserve' to have their series/user bashing read just because they have internet connection?

    7. Very well. At a bare minimum, insofar as being a webstore, is it not befitting and proper to advertise its potential wares accurately and factually?

    8. I know what you mean. I suggested a correction once and my comment got deleted. These set of comments probably will too. I kind of wish all the cursing and bashing and put-downs are the ones that will be deleted, but it's their business and their business practices. They know it better than we do, even if some of us here may understand the fan-base than they do.

As a rule of thumb, I just post a comment if I think that it makes a post interesting or if other people will find it interesting. There may be a lot of new comers to the Gundam universe coming here that end up deciding not to get into it because of all the hate (kind of like those little kids in COD who piss off everybody). Gundam is such a nice collection of art and media that I think it'd be a shame for people not to enjoy it because of the trolls and haters.

    9. i wouldn't mind GG doing buisness if his blog was more profesional. Actually this blog is more an ads board than anything, i mean even some one who doesn't know a shit about plamo could do that.

  4. A few extra ink lines + web exclusive price = profit!
