it looks big, fat and heavily armored. proportions are unlike any of the previos hi-v incarnations. oh wait, so that's why it looks a bit different. its a new MS. its a gumdan!
It looks kinda like a mashup between the two designs. It carries the proportions, some details, and colors of the original design, but it uses the color separation patterns of the newer MG design instead of the original design's fading purple effects
I wanted the phoenix like rear thruster...still it does look better with the added bulk. Hope they add a lot of accessories like the Nu's "optional" gear.
Yeeeessss!! Oh yesss! I'm definitely getting this. The real Hi-Nu Gundam that I love so much. It looks so grand and majestic. Something you would think is probably piloted by a last boss of a bad guys because it's looks so badass. They use the color scheme and rifle of the new poorly one tho but I don't care anymore. I can't believe they actually do this. Thank you Bandai.

ReplyDeleteThat's how the original design of Hi-Nu looks -_-"
Deletebitch please, that's what's Hi-Nu's original proportions are. it's by far the most accurate hi-nu model out there
DeleteI'd rather a new MG that reflects these proportions *shoulder nudges Katoki for a ver ka*
ReplyDeleteI doubt katoki would design a Hi-Nu with these proportions.
DeleteYeah, a Katoki Hi-Nu would have extra long legs and a shortened torso plus slimmer proportions.

ReplyDeleteinsert Mbison Yes! joke here
ReplyDeleteLook at the name tag. "Hi-v GUMDAN".
ReplyDeleteFreaking... Figures. RD gets the best designs. The HGUC Hi-Nu is crap and the MG's proportions are crap too but this thing is basically perfect
ReplyDelete+1 indeed
DeleteI like the MG Hi-Nu's slim redesign, but yes,l finally glad we get a figure with the original proportions, that ISN'T a $600+ resin model

ReplyDeleteI never thought they'll reincarnate this proportion again. Too bad it doesn't come with the gradient-tone wings.
ReplyDeleteThis fatty and Nightingale deserves its own movie.
