    1. ...seriously? it's a prototype. not a actual final product.

i'm hoping for actual round fingers like all zeonic ms, not a reuse of the nu/stein/jesta/gundam 3.0 hands

    2. he's being sarcastic. fyi ppl have been complaining about model kit based on prototype since years ago. esp the "booo, it needs a stand to stand up straight"

i was expecting someone to say that even before i check the comments.

    3. dude are you going to buy that prototype?

  2. I spy fully articulated hands.

    1. weird since only his right hand has the fully articulated hands and the left hand is the same as the Geara Doga's.

  3. Wow, that thing looks like a total mess... The hands are teensy, too, and different colors at that. You'd think such an iconic MS would get at least a somewhat professional handler/poser.

    1. It is a very rough prototype... use your head.

      Delete
    2. Wow. How can you comment about the colors right away when what's shown at the moment is just an uncolored prototype?

      Delete
    3. The answer is simple. People are so stupid that their brains can't process that this is a proto type. It's not finished! If you look at the right shoulder you can tell they were recently made. The funny thing is if you look at both shoulders the shoulder on the left (the clear one) looks larger than the one on the right. But that could just because of the angle of the photos. As for the hands one is the new articulating hand (which looks better on here then the 3.0 gundam) and the other is the marasai/geara doga hand. They probably used 2 different hands to gauge people reactions on which looks better.

      retarded comment is retarded
You think bandai would release a kit that would disappoint us? After releasing the
MG Nu Ver Ka which has set HIGH standards on the next MG releases, specially in the katoki line.
you, my friend, are too stupid to even recognize what a prototype is.

    5. I love when Katoki messed up with Master Grade line ^_^
hater & lover will hotly debate over it.

looking forward for future MG that will got messed up by you, Katoki
      I'm sure you won't disappoint ^^

      enjoy it guys..

  4. Lets just wait for the production kit to be release because it may have some modification may added on the kit.

  5. Seems like the psychoframe gimmick, which some people predicted is going to happen.

  6. They should make the legs proportionally bigger though. They look too small

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Katoki usually makes unproportionately long legs, and people complain about that. Now he makes shorter legs, and people still complain. Sometimes you just can't please everyone.

      Delete
    2. Because not all people is Katoki hater, I am found Katoki aesthetic is fine

  7. Two different manipulators? Hmm, tests maybe? Yeah looks goofy as all hell, but early prototypes usually do. Can't wait for it to be fully fleshed out!

  8. Upper body seems too bulky. They should fix the head also

  9. Looking at the pictures : so you slide forward the canopies, pull down the mouth mask to reveal the whole cockpit ( entire sphere, hopes ) then... where is the neck?!

  10. it looks even worst than the old MG...

    1. Well your a fucking moron. Its a first phase prototype.
Jesus christ, people like you are seriously fucking clueless.

      Delete
    2. Well just the preportions are poopy its just like the old mg big torso little legs. I know its a early prototype but this is a bad representation for a big kit like this

      Delete
  11. this is going to be an easy pass for me, the proportions look really bad

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. The larger shoulder proportions are more correct than the original MG.
It is also still in prototype phase. Wait for a final design before bitching about it.

  12. the hguc has better leg : shoulder and body proportions..

  13. Looks like a midget. I bet you people (including me) would love this kit after bandai has released the images on what the final product would look like, and I bet y'all will love this more after hearing what gimmicks this kit has.

on the Nu Ver Ka, many were also skeptical at first after seeing the prototype preview.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Actually....I like the proportions. Maybe I'm alone, but I think it makes it look more brutish, as well as closer to the original art. Along with the larger proportions, it MAY allow a cockpit in the head...though, if they want to LED this sucker, thats going to be an interesting proposition.

    1. You are not alone dear sir or madam. I was really excited to see this just to get an idea on what the final could be like and in scale of actually how big he is and I gotta say he is really big :)

  15. I won't judge it since its still just the prototype. I really don't believe Bandai will release a production model of such an iconic suit with these proportions.

    ReplyDelete
  16. If I had to keep one thing about this prototype it'd be the propellant tanks. The original's proportions looked too small/short for a drawn out battle.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Really? I thought the new backpack is the worst part about this prototype.

    ReplyDelete
  18. On an interesting note...it doesn't have its funnels on...

    ReplyDelete
  19. A lot of people are hating on this kit before an actual prototype even comes out. Its a 3D printed prototype of what they have right now. Its GOING to be heavy. Don't expect for this kit to be perfect on the first display of the model.

On another note, you can see the cockpit in the head, so there might be a chance for a removable cockpit.

  20. Heres hoping the final one looks better than this. The probortians look very all over the place on this prototype, easpeacially the legs, they look tiny. I know its a prototype so i wont judge it yet, but im really keeping my fingers crossed that they dont mess thig up.

    ReplyDelete
  21. are there any chance they're going to fix proportions for the final product? because legs are too frickin small

  22. http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/cca/msn-04.htm

When I compare the prototype to the above pic, I see a couple of interesting points:

    - The legs are not so much "small" as they are, say, covered by skirt armour. The pic seems to confirm that Bandai is following the AMV in that regard. Sorry to the leg haters, but it looks like the Sazabi was designed to look that way below the waist.

    - The oversized shoulders and arms seem to follow the picture's proportions. As an owner of the 1.0 Sazabi, I have to say that this is a welcome change.

According to this picture, it looks as though the escape pod / cockpit may, in fact, be the swivel point for the head (meaning that there is probably some point of rotation inside the upper chest). Not exactly great for the pilot, what with Corealis problems when turning the head, but seemingly accurate to the anime.

    - The chest is less curved, but hey, Katoki made the Nu look good by giving it sharper lines.

In conclusion, strictly based on 2 photos, I would say that although it may not please everyone, the Sazabi ver. Ka is following the anime proportions closer than any other gunpla before (even though the HGUC looks fantastic). Can't wait to see the coloured test build to get an idea of the final product.

    1. +1 fair enough

the escape pod / cockpit though, should be bigger, equally as ν's or Sinanju's, so, that's will be the FINAL version's Head/Neck moulding problem, imagine if they decide to include a LED unit... have my doubts

Notice how the retaining ring for the eye is missing in the prototype? My best guess is that the ring will somehow be used as light piping for the green LED. Another possibility is that the Sazabi will use (!!) wiring to get the light to the eye.

For the OVA ver. Supporters : this is 25th anniversary of 0093 : CCA, sure Bandai will do something to please you all ( me included ) :-)

    1. The proportions are actually similar to the old sazabi art.

  27. The front skirt armor, and cod, pieces are longer then the red lineart stand-in they showed when they originally announced the kit. I've seen pre-orders for as low as 7200 Yen. The Sazabi is probably my favorite mobile suit design ever so I know I'm in.

  28. NOOOOOOOO ...
Why does it look so ugly? What's that awful upward facing beak underneath the head? Why are the shoulder pads so smallish?
Bandai seriously needs to put more into this ...
If this where my progress so far, I would not display it in public.
Let's hope they will not mess up the best MS in the franchise.

  29. It looks fine. It's just the pose that is messed up. Look at the torso slightly bent backwards as well as the head. Fix it a bit and it's awfully close to the red model on the right.

  33. OK so i know this is a prototype 3d printer kit witch i still think is cool that they make em like that makes me want to buy it even more. i love the proportions of the hguc sazabi and i just did a rough comparison of the hguc and the mg ver KA. and the proportions seem to be right on the money still given thier is room for improvement it is only the firs 3d ver we have gotten. and im excited to see what and where katoki will improve this design before DEC

    1. The propellant tanks are stupidly long for Sazabi, like they just refitted Sazabi with the propellant tanks from Sinanju/Stein.

Let's see who has a bigger penis!

  35. It's Ver Ka......I'm sure it's gonna be amazing. Have some faith in him

  36. Anyone noticed that Sazabi has markings S01 while Sinanju has markings 10S? They're flipped hahaha! Cool
