  2. this actually makes for a better Gundam X design...

the satellite panels/wings are arranged quite nicely in that it replicates both the functions of the DX's wings folding down and the way GX uses its wings for propulsion. not to mention the backpack looks a lot more complicated compared to the DX's.

the connector for the cannon seems to be able to work in both sides, so basically slap this guy another cannon on it's left and you got yourself a twin satellite cannon version of GX

I love the redesign of the weapon system here... but can't say the same for the head

  3. this design is really slick compared to the original X and DX

  4. Why can't this be the lead suit instead of boring old strike!?

    But yeah, definite buy!

    1. Strike is cheaper to modify. New Backpack = new Kit = profit!

    2. The build strike is a 100% new mold, excluding the back pack.

    3. Strike's concept is having multiple roles by simply switching backpacks.
So even if there's a new base mold, Bandai only needs to release more backpacks as "upgrades", sell them as Full kits or "Booster" packs and make money with a minimum amount of new runners.

  5. A big improve all around Gundam X nearly entire suit, one exception for me is the face.... I don't know how to explain, but it turn me a bit down. (Original X's face looks better for me)

    1. It's probably the humongous superrobot-ish V-fin

    2. In my case, I hate those cheek-guards, plus the heads from some other series (can't remember which one has rounded sides

    3. It's a modified Astray head.

  8. The only thing that turns me down is that the V-fin doesn't make the suit look... Really sharp. It makes me think of it being lazy-eyed. I guess I like angry-looking heads.

  10. now I just need to kitbash this kit with my old x divider, I hate that shoulder and fin design

  11. It looks more terrifying in the magazine scan, with the primer on. In its normal colors, I don't see any "devil" factor...

  13. why the hips using ball joint???

    1. Using the old build. Too bad since it's obvious they can fix the joint using modern standards

    And... SOLD!

  17. i honestly don't believe that this will use a satellite system for that weapon because if it does it will be a short lived unit (becoming a sitting duck while weapon charges via microwave = dead duck) other than that this is my other favorite unit especially when it was the divider.

  18. Gatling at shoulder ?
    Missile launcher at calf ?
