I think you should go for this one since it's the iconic version. And because I don't think that an EW one will be coming out anything soon, if at all. But if the EW is your preference.

Nice. Good to see some AU kits coming out. I love the HGUC line, but it's about time some more AU kits got a similar make-over. I've already gotten the MG Wing recently, so I don't know yet if I'll be getting this one, but it gives me good hope for a TV ver. Wing Zero, which Bandai seems to be studiously avoiding for whatever reason (no, that Proto Zero doesn't count :P).
Judging form the photos, it looks like wing gundam's shield has a higher mode n a lower one one its arm. Maybe the shield could have a mode for stabbing like we saw when it stabbed a aries in the face in one of the episodes.
Being the first gundam design i ever saw, Wing Gundam will always influence my like of design. Thanks mr Okawara. Here's hoping they throw out the rest of the boy band MSs in HG.
