since F-91, crossbone and V gundam series MS are only 15M height , making HGUC of them will be very hard , because they are too small and parts will easily get damage
You do realize that with the All Gundam Lead project set by the new series they already announced HGUC V and F91. Crossbone will probably happen with that. Also, they made 1/144ths of V Gundam kits in the 90s that were surprisingly good.
I wonder if the higher price might involve the modifying of the kit to have actual yellow pieces on the shoulders, thrusters and weapons instead of the "paint it yourself approach the other kits had"
I'd hate to say it, but the increased price is probably because its an online exclusive, water slides and the addition of the shot lancer. The yellow on the shoulders will most likely be stickers again, and the yellow on the weapons and core fighter will need to be painted. Same goes for the light purple on the face, and possibly the bit of yellow and purple on the shot lancer itself.
Well, the cape is redesigned and is made of ABS material instead of the nylon cloth that came with X1. So pretty much the shot lance, extra beam shield, and the cape are the main things that increase the price.
Tallgeese II was the same price as T1 so water slides and 'online exclusive' name probably aren't the reason to X2's higher price. That said, however, Bandai certainly knows X2 is a wanted design and is milking money out of it.
And yeah, pretty much u gotta paint it yourself for those yellow parts and face
I decided to modify the X-1 into the X-2 years ago. It was actually pretty easy; I got the old SD X-2 and modified the V-fin antenna, as well as the 1/100 Berga Giros for the shotlancer. Was in the process of modding the F90II-L's long-barrel rifle into the buster launcher when real life got in the way.
why are not HG of this, the X1, X3 and X0!!! are MSV but not from the mangas or light novel, not fair
ReplyDeletei agree with you...
Deleteall the Crossbones, X0-X3, should be released as HGUCs too.
and i mean, released as REGULAR HGUC, not the overpriced limited/premium/whatever HGUCs...

DeleteIs this just a reuse of the same Crossbone/F91 frame that's been used for the past 10-odd years?
