Not gonna happen. Can you give one legitimate reason why it should get one? The frame is great and the only issue it has is the sagging clear display rods. If you think those rods make the kit deserving of a new version then you're retarded.
Could be but I bet they'll announce Hi NU ver. Ka after a few more years?
Lot of people saying MG Aile Strike won't get a v.2.0, it's not gonna happen... and then bandai announced the Remaster version which is equivalent to v.2.0
I can't state my point straight but I think you all get it.
It's not about the frame being great. As Anon 9:10 said, the MG Aile Strike was a good kit and still got a new version. There are many things they can do better with a second Hi-Nu MG like a psycoframe cockpit for example, the new plastic, better detail. If it's a ver Ka, then you could add in the tons of decals.
Besides, if Hajime Katoki suddenly has the urge to redesign the Hi-Nu, he'd do it, regardless of what kits Bandai has in line for release, seeing as a ver Ka is not technically a 2.0. Just look at the different RX-78-2 versions. The Nu ver Ka has a frame that is similar to the original designs of the Hi-Nu (not the one used for the MG) which was bulkier. Look at the HGUC Hi-Nu or the GPB Hi-Nu to get a picture.
Of course I'm with those who are calling for MG kits of other designs like the Methuss for example, or the Hambrabi, the Bawoo, the Jegan, or the Rozen Zulu and the Jagd Doga even. But as far as legitimate reasons are concerned, Bandai would prefer releasing a proven popular design over a projected popular one especially if they can save money by making it too.
Since when does being banned from Animesuki mean that he is banned from here? You guys are not going to be happy when he re-appears on an Age or 00 relate topic.
Its called keeping it at target price. SD kits dont have correct proportions so why should bandai give them the complete gimmicks. You want funnels, then pay for the MG.
Anon @ 9.52 i DO have the MG, plus it's not that hard to give it complete gimmicks, it's already the price of 1200yen, higher than the usual SD
Anon @ 6.27 i also do have the "other" one, needless to say, it's amazing, but it's not the original Hi Nu, i believe it was based off a resin kit, so i'd like the normal hi nu but this does not look like it will hold it's own next to the "other" one
HELL, YES.
ReplyDeleteBandai might be a bit too late for this one.. i got the 3rd party one and i'm very happy with it.. but let's see what Bandai can do first
ReplyDeleteHuh? Why its eyes are red? Isn't it yellow??
ReplyDeleteI bet Bandai has plans to do a MG Hi Nu Gundam Ver. Ka...
ReplyDelete...and I wouldn't mind that at all.

It's better that he receives a punishment than none.
DeleteOnly 2 fin funnels are transformable. Good enough, since that's the same with its HGUC cousin. I love how the SDs are getting more details now.
ReplyDeleteonly 2 transformable funnels? i don't see why they can't make all 6 that way.. i think that's just being lazy/cheap

Wow, this SD reminded me of the Nu ver Ka. It's too early yet but I hope a Hi-Nu ver Ka (or 2.0) gets released in the future.
ReplyDeletemcmodel still better than this one *grab popcorn
ReplyDeleteoh cool, u brought popcorn, yes mcmodel is way better
Deleteprolly get this one just because...well...about damn time.
Deleteand to add on the scaling goes better with my other SD kits.
