PS3/PS Vita: Gundam Breaker - New Images [Updated 4/10/13]

PS3/PS Vita: Gundam Breaker (Release Date: Jun 27th 2013, Price: 7980 yen)
Namco Bandai: Gundam Breaker, a new game for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita systems.  This upcoming new game will pit plastic models against other plastic models in stages inspired by diorama.  For example, a 1/144-scale Gundam RX-78-2 taking on a much larger 1/60 scale Gundam RX-78-2. (The backdrop in this scenario is a diorama of Diver City Tokyo — the real-life home of the life-size Gundam statue.)

    2. Seems like alot hopefully. Lots of parts from different shows. Uc, wing, zeta, uc-0079, seed, g-gundam and out of all of that...the one thing that caught my eye the most was the torso unit of the heavy arms....its the EW ver.

  2. Im loving the concept of parts and customization. Hopefully this concept will grown and be in a future Gundam game.

  4. I'm not interested in this game in the slightest. Videogames are usually the closest you can get to experiencing the thrill of something that would otherwise be impossible. Such as being a cybernetic ninja, a survivor in a zombie apocalypse or the pilot of a giant robot. I can already play with Gundam model kits at home. Also, I want to play as my favourite mobile suits, not some ugly-ass, spliced Frankengundam.

    1. Your model kits can engage in actual combat, with beam weapons and bazookas? Man, I've been shopping at the wrong websites.

    2. I know what u mean. The one and only thing that makes it interresting for me is its customization options. Just think what could be done, when customization would be added to next Extreme Vs game.

    2. Why can't there be just an easy change over translation code? Obviously I'm no computer wiz but there has to be some kind of translator program that can translate words in video games for all regions?

  9. Any chance there'll be an option for English text in this game? It looks simple enough to figure out, I'd just hate to import it and not be able to figure things out.

  14. This game looks beast! only thing i'd want added to it though is part destruction. Idk, for me i just like it better when a game becomes as "realistic" as possible and mech games definitely have that opportunity. I'd take being able to one-hit someone with a well placed shot to the cockpit over a health bar any day.

  16. Hell yeah! We needed another Gundam title for the Vita, and this would be a great and radically new addition to what's already being offered.
